Braemar Golf Course - Executive
Played On 8/15/2013Too many other places to play
The course is just not that good. The greens and fairways are over grown to the point that you get almost no roll on your drive and the ball bounces on the way to the cup when putting. The driving range has to be the worst in the state, good luck finding grass to hit off. I'm just done with this course, my money is better spent elsewhere.
Purple Hawk Country Club
Played On 8/10/2013Beautiful
Purple hawk is a great course that is obviously well taken care of. The fairways are short and lush and the greens are fast and tough. A good test for most players and for big hitters you'll want to hit from the tips as the par 4s can get a little short from the whites. They also hand out a guide book with distances which came in handy.
Albion Ridges Golf Course - The Rock Nine
Played On 8/9/2013Great course
This course is great because players of all levels will find it enjoyable. There aren't a ton of areas to really get into lots of trouble but beware of the greens! They are hard and fast with multiple ridges and subtle breaks. I loved playing here and getting there and back was a breeze.
Majestic Oaks Golf Club - Signature Golf Course
Played On 7/19/2013Just sort of blah
The course was well maintained but I would not put it in the category of a premier course. One thing that grinds my gears is the tee boxes are not level. I know it probably doesn't matter much but it's one of those things for me. Staff was friendly and helpful and the driving range was great. Lots of blind shots if you drive it far I would recommend playing with someone who has been here before.
Loggers Trail Golf Club
Played On 7/12/2013Just fine
They course seemed in fine shape. Greens were well kept as well as the fairways. I just didn't thing it was anything to write home about.
