Coral Canyon Golf Course
Played On 10/26/2018Pity about the storm damage
Basically an attractive course, with well defended greens (bunkers), the works in progress to repair previous water damage and alter the layout did detract from the playing experience. Once this is finished, it will be a fine course. It took us a couple of holes to get into the swing of things. Had some longish carries, with fast greens in decent shape.
Busy course, but play was okay 4:25 minutes.
New South Wales Golf Club
Played On 01/17/2017Much too expensive
We booked here, treating ourselves to one of the highest rated courses in the Sydney area. The location was good and many of the views spectacular (although you also had views of port/industry). The staff was friendly, but not extremely welcoming. I felt we were being tolerated. Having played courses like Torrey Pines and The Links at Spanish Bay in California, Royal Dornach in Scotland, Kapalua in Hawaii or San Lorenzo in the Algarve, Portugal, the views were just not enough to merit the green fees. The course itself was in decent shape and was challenging at times. A nice experience, but not at that price. If money is no object, the play this course.

attractive, well maintained with 6 tee box possibilities. greens not too fast to play and true. as few homes not yet built, there is still a wonderful feel of space. a fewblind holes, gps helpful, but a black/white pole indicating direction of play would be helpful.

Palm Desert Country Club

very friendly attentive service! no range, but a short game practice area. slow greens, but fair. fairways in good condition generally. not a great course, but for the average player esp seniors a nice way to spend the day.
As a former member I would be interested to know what was the price range for your visit.
In the last twenty years the club has been incorporated and runs as a profit centre.
I noticed the changes as a member and chose to leave.
