Only visited once in 2022, such was my growing disappointment in way the course was deteriorating. Visited today and the course was in much better nick. Everything trimmed back and the greens much better than some higher end local clubs. Club has obviously had issues with investments, but someone with a quid to spare could make this club into one of the best in the local area and sort the driving range out.

Love this course. For the money, it's in beautiful condition and is always a challenge and delight to visit

First time playing and first time noticing Backworth was on Golf Now, which was a pleasant surprise!

Played a quick 9 holes late on Easter Monday.

Excellent par 3's and green quality, will definitely return

First time playing the lakes course and it's easily one of the best courses I've been on.

Challenging course with the amount of water. If you're going for the first time and as much of a amateur as i am.. take plenty of balls!

Greens were fantastic and it's a clear course.

Just had some impatient players behind us who made us rush our round (I offered to let them through) but apart from that, I can't fault the course at all
