Unless you are a group of low to mid handicappers, this course is great. From the tips it's 5,000 yds. Perfect for seniors or starters. Even good for kids by playing it forward. Very good course conditions with a nice layout. Challenges exist on most holes with lots of water, bunkers and OB.
I'm a 9 HDC and enjoyed playing with a handicapped relative.

Nice tract. Needs more care and more employees.
Only the 2nd paid player in the course with a 12:40 tee time, but my cart died in the 16th hole. Bad enough that the cart ran out, but the pro shop had to close to have someone bring me a cart.
Leaves covered the course and we’re not maintained so plan to loose extra balls

Greeted by a grumpy bag man (until you're done with the round and he's following you around with his hand out mooching for a tip). No he doesn't take your clubs from your car, no he doesn't load them onto a cart, and no he doesn't clean your clubs when you're done, he just stalks you for a tip. He does park all of the carts to block you from riding to the trailer pro shop, Oh, he did say that a few of the carts were having trouble with their GPS, like mine that did not work the entire round, not was the new course recognized by my Bushnell GPS of 18Birdies on my smart phone. So they don't remove the carts with defective GPS, they put them in play even though they know the course is not recognized by most GPS. The starter said don;t worry, your GPS will go on after you go over the bridge. So before I get over, he drives away. Then neither GolfNow nor the course advise that the greens were recently aerated. Finally after hitting a drive in bounds but not down the middle of the fairway, you have no chance of finding the ball. If it was mowed, it was still 3 inches high with the entire cut resting on top, so no chance of finding your ball. This is a new course, with very nice design features that needs a seasoned professional manager and new staff.

Played behind a 5 some all day to a 5 plus hr round. Told the ranger 3 times but they were either his friends or paid him very well. Called the pro shops and mentioned it at the turn. Twice, they would break up for 1/2 a hole and then rejoin.
The traps are the worst I ever seen. Mesh exposed on most holes and rocks that are going to really hurt someone. Why they take the bottom up the sides so a shot one foot from the green gets submerged under 6+ inches of sand is insane.
And generally, the rest of the course has dropped from its previous 5 star rating down to a 3.5.
It’s well overpriced.

Pace of play would have dramatically improved if there was a ranger
No one in the pro shop so had to pay for the round at the turn
No cart drink person and no cups to hold drinking wster
Better than average condition for an old course layout

Why is a course with such a good layout and in very nice shape everywhere that is green can the traps be SOOOO BAD.
They are the worst sand traps in Florida
If you're lucky, they will settle in a place where they're like rock quarries. If you're unlucky, they your ball with rest on top of the white mesh or you can't find it since it will have sunk 6 inches deep along the sides that the crew rakes

How could a course as nice as this one in terms of layout and condition have sand traps this bad. You're better off playing in a rock quarry, because that's what the traps are like. Mainly hard pan, with the white net matting coming through. Although some of the times you'll get some sand which is mainly rocks. The only time you get soft sand is where it's been racked up the sides, so when you miss the green by 1 foot your ball buries down from 2 to 6 inches and you're lucky if you can find it. Forget about hitting it. By far the worst sandtraps in Florida.

I met 3 players from Michigan and had a very good time. Unfortunately, the course is not on any GPS
I used 2 apps (includng the one from golf non) before calling the course to get the easy but way off directions. I nearly missed the t-time

Also, I say more alligators on that course than I have in ten years (and I live in Florida)

Pro shop not friendly
Course ihas a very nice layout but at some point you have to put some money into the course to keep it up and to improve it

The pro shop was out of logo balls and logo sleeves. The pro was not friendly.
This quality course deserves a more fitting and professional pro taking care of the guests.
There was no water to start the round or a drink cart seen over 18 holes.
The course maintenance guy was awesome. He was pleasant , cordial and humble.
