Coyote Springs Golf Club
Played On 01/27/2020Beautiful Views
The view are incredible and the place is absolutely beautiful.
Unlimited range balls was a nice touch and also bottled water available whenever you wanted it.
We started as a twosome and paired up with the guys behind us after three holes because we were waiting on the threesome in front of us quite a bit. Luckily we had a foursome because we still waited.
The course was in good shape but not real green. The greens were fast and in nice shape but super hard... the ball skipped off and wouldn't bite. All of the greens are undulated and there is literally no place to land your ball without it rolling into a low spot or rolling off the green entirely. Most of the pins were in the most difficult places and were very unrealistic even for a single digit handicapper like the 3 guys who I played with. For a mid handicapper it becomes no fun which will not bring people back.
Plenty of room in the fairways but some pretty deep bunkers and lots of waste bunkers.
There is a very small clubhouse which is not real fancy.
We didn't hang around to find out about food or drinks.
Wolf at Las Vegas Paiute Golf Resort
Played On 01/26/2020First class operation
As we walked from our car to the clubhouse we were met by the proshop guys who took our clubs and put them on our cart. There were many people who were willing to help and were very friendly. Bottled water was in our cart cooler with ice.
Unlimited range balls were included in the greens fee. They also have a nice chipping area with a practice bunker.
We were paired up with a member who was a real nice guy. There is a ranger on the course to keep play moving.
The course was in excellent shape from tee to green even though it was only January. I cannot imagine how nice it is during the summer months.
There are some really beautiful views on the course. The island green was a fun hole, set up just like Sawgrass.
The price point for the course is a bit higher than some others in Vegas but it's worth it. This is a must play.
After we finished our round the proshop guy took our clubs to the secure bag pick up area where they will keep them until you are ready to pick them up. This was a nice touch and very much appreciated.
There are two other courses at Paiute which I would love to play in the future. We will be back when we make our next trip to Vegas.
Golf Summerlin - Highland Falls Course
Played On 01/25/2020Just ok
If you are playing in Vegas there are much better places to spend your money. This is over priced for the course. A few nice views of the valley but the course is nothing special.
Greens were ok fairways were marginal. Better conditions others places at this time of the season.
Food was marginal at best.
Thank you for taking the time to come and leave some feedback and we are sorry to hear that your experience wasn't as great as either of us would have hoped. We do ask you to please come back and give us another try.
Chimera Golf Club
Played On 01/24/2020Grest place
We were greeted at our car by the clubhouse guys who were ready to take our clubs to our cart. They set us up with range balls which were included in our greens fee. There is also a chipping area and a practice bunker with unlimited balls.
The first tee was a bit backed up when it was time for our tee time so we got going a bit late. Once we got off it was fine. We were paired up with two local guys who knew the course and were fun to play with.
The course was in great shape and very green for January. The course was in great shape from tee to green.
If you are playing in the Vegas area this is one course you should play, you will not be disappointed.
Mountain at Angel Park Golf Club
Played On 04/03/2019Great shape fun course
We played early in the morning so we were ahead of the crowds. Pace of play was great. 3 hour round!!
The course is in excellent condition from tee to green. Fairways are green and full, rough is green and not too thick but thick enough.
Lots of wildlife to see on the course and beautiful mountain views as well.
We played three other courses while in Vegas and this was by far the best one as far as course conditions and layout. There was even a beverage cart out at 8:00 am.
Many other courses charge way more money but are not worth nearly what they are charging. This course is doing a great job of keeping everything in nice shape. Just wish we had played this before it was our last day.
Staff was very friendly.
Would definitely recommend you play this course if you are looking at this price range or higher. You won’t be disappointed.
Will be back if we play Vegas again.
Thanks Angel Park!!
Cloud 9 at Angel Park Golf Club
Played On 04/01/2019Nice filler course
We played at 7:30 in the morning so we didn’t have anyone in front of us. We cruised through in no time. We walked with rented pull carts. Very walkable and easy. Tee boxes are pretty rough but the greens were in excellent shape. Bunkers are very hard with rocks and very little sand. Groundskeepers were mowing and grooming traps was not enjoyable. They should start at the end, hole 12, and go backwards so each group would only have to deal with them once a round. We had to deal with them for five holes. We felt rushed as they sat and waited for us to finish each hole.
Arroyo Golf Club
Played On 03/31/2019Nothing special but ok
We got a special rate for two day booking which was good because the course is not worth the full rack rate. Range balls are included in the rate so that was nice.
The course was ok for late March. Fairways were green and rough was thick. Greens have ball
marks everywhere. They should pass out free repair tools to every player.
The layout of the course is odd You don’t ever get near the clubhouse again after hole #7 but there are water jugs and bathrooms around the course. Only saw the beverage cart one time in the entire 18 holes.
Finished at 6:45 and the clubhouse bar was already closed so couldn’t have a beer.
Hi Nancy, we appreciate the honest review. We're working hard to ensure ideal playing conditions for all our guests. Thanks for choosing Arroyo GC, we hope to see you again soon!
LPGA International - Hills Course
Played On 02/11/2017challenging greens
The course is top notch. You are greeted as you pull up to the bag drop where they unload your clubs from your car. Carts were clean and ran well. Course was in great shape. Greens are in very good shape and deceivingly difficult and tough to read. Tee boxes are in excellent and greens and fairways are perfectly manicured.
There are no ball washers at the tee boxes but there are a few around the course in different locations.
Beverage cart was not around enough and the snack bar at the turn was closed on the day we played. That is not a good thing since you are quite far from the clubhouse and cannot get snacks or drinks. There are a couple of drinking water dispensers around but nothing else.
The layout of the Hills course is fabulous and very scenic.
There is a very nice practice area with chipping and bunker practice area as well as driving range.
We got a slight discount from golfnow but the regular rack rate for the course is pretty spendy. I wouldn't pay $75+ for this when I can play others for less. Never have a problem getting on here and maybe because it's a bit high in price.
Would play this course every time we are in the Daytona area.
Highlands at Mississippi National Golf Links
Played On 06/19/2016Fun and beautiful
Played the Highlands. Cart is mandatory. Great views and the course is on great shape. There is no drinking water on the course and you cannot go back to the clubhouse after 9. Some very interesting holes. If you haven't played here you should.
Mississippi Dunes Golf Links
Played On 08/29/2015Nice course
The course and the setting. are very nice. Tee boxes were pretty beat up but fairways and greens were decent. The course is not easy but very playable for most abilities. Ladies tee is non existent on some holes but that's not all bad.
We played on a Golfnow hot deal so it was well worth the money. If we had paid full price it would have been a disappointment. They do not manage the groups well. Should be matching up twosomes to make foursomes to speed up play. We waited at least 5 minutes on almost every shot so it was quite frustrating. The deck looks out to the backwaters of the Mississippi River so it is pretty nice. Heard the food was good but we didn't eat.
Would go back if we got a good deal again but not for full price.
HI Nancy,
Thank you for the review. We are sorry to hear you didn't have a perfect experience at The Dunes. We do hope you give us another try.
Thanks!
Boulder Pointe Golf Club
Played On 08/16/2015Pretty rough shape
All of the courses are in great shape this year but not this one. The grass was yellow/brown and the fairways were in poor shape. The greens were ok but not in great shape like they should be at this time of year.
When we made the turn there were 4 groups waiting on 10 tee. Absolutely unacceptable. As you can expect, it was slow going after that.
The clubhouse man was friendly to us until he found out that we bought our tee time online through Golfnow. After that he was very short.
We have no reason to go back to this course. There are many other to choose from in the area for the same money.
Loggers Trail Golf Club
Played On 07/31/2015A fun day
Course is in great condition. Greens are quite fast and consistent throughout the course. I like the layout of the course. It is beautiful and makes you feel like you're up north in the woods.
Hit it straight and stay off the humps and bumps and you'll be fine.
2 for 1 drink specials in the clubhouse after your round is awesome. Don't get that from most places.
Will go back.
Thank you for the kind words. We appreciate it.
Golf at the Legacy
Played On 07/26/2015Decent course
We played when the heat index was about 100 so there weren't many golfers out. Very fast pace of play, never waited. Course is I'm nice shape.
Hade wings and quesadillas afterwards and both were very good. Staff couldn't have been nicer.
Kilkarney Hills Golf Course
Played On 07/19/2015Just OK
the course was in pretty good shape. The ladies Tee boxes are not the best but ladies T boxes usually aren't real good.
The greens were in nice shape. Most bunkers had water in them since it rained 7+ inches the last week.
For the most part the course is fine but they need to pay some attention to the carts. Ours was filthy when we got it so we washed the sticky stuff off ourselves. The axle was clunky and we weren't sure it would make it through the round but it did. We also had a constant gasoline odor which was annoying.
We used to play here more often but probably will go elsewhere in the future unless it gets better.
If we hadn't gotten a good deal on golfnow we would have been highly disappointed.
Clifton Hollow Golf Club
Played On 07/03/2015Beware of horseflies
The course is in decent shape. The horseflies were horrible. There are horsefly traps on many holes but it is still a problem.
There was no beverage cart but there is drinking water on a few holes.
The water in the many ponds on the course is very scummy and not attractive.
The best thing about the course is the signage. There are overhead views of the hole on every tee box with yardages. Nice feature. The signage telling you where to go to the next hole is good as well.
For the money there are much better places to play so I have no reason to go back.
Nancy, you must have us confused with another golf experience. Your review doesn't sound at all like our course; no horsefly traps (not even sure what these are) or horsefly problems, no on course signs with overhead graphics of holes (we have those on our scorecards with critical shot yardages), ponds are clear, and we've always been considered a great value.
I hope you'll consider playing our course and revising your review.
Happy golfing,

River Falls Golf Club
Played On 06/28/2015good value
this is a nice course. No houses on the course until you get to 16 which is nice.
Course is in great shape as they all are right now.
greens were lightening fast until it rained. when we were on 12 it rained about an inch in 1/2 hour. the course held up quite well to the rain and the greens slowed down obviously.
We will come back.
Boca Royale Golf & Country Club
Played On 02/24/2015Nice but nothing special.
We paid $50 for an early morning tee time.
We were the third group out so we never got backed up which was nice. Played 18 in just over 3 hours.
The cart guy was friendly but the pro shop attendant and the starter were very dry and unfriendly.
There is an area for chipping and putting practice and also a place to hit in a cage type area. There were free balls provided. I thought he that was a nice touch.
The course is in pretty good shape for winter in Florida. The greens are small but well kept. Fairways are wide and nice. Not a lot of water but there are quite a few bunkers to deal with. Design is nothing special. Overall just a regular course.
If I was paying the full price I would probably go some place else for that kind of money.
Misty Creek Country Club
Played On 02/23/2015Fun course
We played this on a Golfnow hot deal and it was worth every penny. We were paired up with two very nice gentleman who we enjoyed.
Practice area has driving range, chipping area and sand trap practice area which a lot of places don't have.
The course is in great shape from tee to green for this time of year.
The greens are really tough to read and had been painted green so they looked nice but it made it even harder to read breaks and judge speed.
There is no "rough" to speak of on the entire course. Where there would normally be rough there is a small gravel or sand. You might call it desert area with plenty of trees mixed in.
There are all kinds of wildlife here. In our round we saw many gators, Hawks, raccoons, deer, turtles and countless different types of birds.
The course has plenty of difficulty but not so much that casual golfers cannot have fun.
We started at 1:30 and were told that the beverage cart only runs until 10am. I think that's really bad. There is water available at the pro shop with ice and cups. Also have water on the course. Couldn't even get a bag of chips and a Soda. The food/beverage is the only negative I had about this course. I enjoyed my time here.
Cove Cay Golf Club
Played On 02/22/2015Rough
This course needs some tender loving care...lots of it. The landscape could be absolutely beautiful but it hasn't been kept up. Heard the new owner is going to put a bunch of money into the course so we will see.
The greens have as much sand or more than the bunkers. The layout is great but the fairways and greens are in real bad shape.
Lots of wildlife on the course so it was fun to see that. We played for $30 on Golfnow but that was even too much for this course. This one needs help.
The Links at Greenfield Plantation
Played On 02/21/2015Very nice
I read that the staff was unfriendly to the Golfnow hit deals customers so I was expecting similar treatment. It was exactly the opposite. Very friendly staff the entire time.
Although we didn't eat, the food prices and specials were great.
We were paired up with a couple of locals and we were very thankful for that. There are many blind shots and lots of forced carries over water or crud.
The course is in very good shape from tee to green.
The layout is wonderful. Will play this one again if we're in the area. Love this one.
