This course is tight. It requires your tee shots be in the fairway. There aren't many bailout areas. It has some elevation changes and some tight angles. my only negative is the greens were a bit rough. There were some that had grass patches that infiltrated the greens. pace of play was good,me and the gentleman i was paired with played in 2 1/2 hours on a Saturday. I would definitely play again.

I love this course. It has no houses around it and it surrounded by the beauties of nature. The course can be very challenging in places. Most of the par 4's and 5's are doglegs. It's worth the ride from Jax! Already did their green over-seeding. They were in excellent shape a little fuzzy in places but rolled smoothly. Pace of play is always fast. I played 36 holes in 6 hrs. Give it a try, you won't be disappointed.

I previously played this course over 8 months ago and conditions were terrible. I was pleasantly surprised on my return. They have been working hard on this course. Greens are coming along. There are some where you can see seems from transplanted grass. Fairways were in good shape and tee boxes ok. There was tournament that went off before our foursome but pace of play was steady. Cart girl came around numerous times. Course is well on it's way back and should be in fine shape with a little more time.

This is a beautiful course. The setup makes you use a lot of shot making. Several dog legs entice you to cut corners or play it safe and club down. The greens were super fast and ran true. My only knock was the pace of play. I expected it to be slow for a Saturday but pace of play was well over 5 hours. There were several groups ahead of us who were playing from the wrong tees. Tee it forward, people. You'll enjoy the round a lot more and speed up play. That being said, i will be back!

This is a beautiful course. There are not many flat areas on the fairways. Placing your shots is a must. Pulling driver is not always the wisest choice. The GPS system on the carts is fantastic and provides a lot of course info. The greens had recently been aerated but were coming back nicely. They were quick and rolled nice. I will be back for sure.

This is a fine course. Absolutely beautiful. The staff was super friendly. The course was in fine shape. The course had recently been aerated but had bounced back very nicely. Fairways and tees in super shape. We thoroughly enjoyed our round. My only knock is that this course is a bit pricey for your average golfer. The course wasn't very busy especially for a Sat afternoon. Every golfer should play this course at least once.

This course is stunning to look at. Our tee time was early so the pace of play was good. Fairways and tee boxes were in great shape. The greens on the other hand were not. The greens had been lost but are starting to come back. They were bumpy and pitted. Putting was a guessing game. That being said i enjoyed myself and the threesome i played with. Will definitely return.

They really take care of you here. From the parking lot to the first tee you are made very welcome. The course was fantastic. I look forward to going back again.

Course was in great shape despite all the rain that has been falling. Greens were in good shape and rolled nice. Front nine of the course is wide open and you have bailout areas. The back nine is completely different with tight fairways. Hitting the short grass is a must on the back. I enjoyed playing it and will return.

This is nice course. It's very deceptive. I love the rolling hills the course has. The greens were in pretty good shape. There were a couple with some spots but nothing glaring. The fairways were in fantastic shape. They were very lush and green. If you hit the short grass you had a great lie. Even though it was wet and rainy i still enjoyed the course and will return again.

I played during the current rain storms we are having. The course drains pretty well. Even wet the greens were pretty fast. I had the course to myself and played at a good pace. It's a nice course.

This is deceiving course. Most holes have a bend one way or another. There is also a lot of water. Pull something you can hit straight because there are several holes totally sided by water. There are several nice sized gators on some of the lakes. The greens were quick and in pretty decent shape. There were a few that need some work. Overall a definite repeat play.

I played after a storm had passed through. The course was set to have a tournament that was canceled. So i had the course just about all to myself. Even with all the rain course was in good shape. Greens were quick. It's nice course that i enjoy playing.

I wasn't expecting much but was pleasantly surprised. Staff was super friendly. Course is maintained pretty well, Fairways were a little bare but once the weather starts to stay warm i think they'll come in nicely. Course has a few tough holes which require precision. There are some lakes you can't see from some of the tees. Pace of play was good. I got chased away by the rain after 9 holes. I was given a rain check with no problems. I look forward to returning.

Nice little course. A lot of turns and twists. Most of the greens were elevated with big falls from front to back. Greens were very tricky to read. They had been painted and were tough to hold. Only negative was the pace of play. The course was packed on a beautiful Saturday afternoon. Can't really complain about that! Just be prepared to wait, it's a popular course. A definite replay.

Nice older course with lots of dog legs. It has some water and plenty of bunkers. The greens need some work. Fairways were in OK shape. Pace of play was slow. There was no starter. It seems a lot of courses have done away with rangers and starters as cost cutting measure. On the weekends you need a starter at least till twilight starts. All in all an enjoyable afternoon. Hopefully the spring will be kinder to the greens than the winter was.

There are some long holes on this course. They are also several holes with serious doglegs in either direction. I found myself leaving the driver in the bag and playing for position instead of distance. A good challenge for any golfers skills. I will be back.

This course is really nice. It's a par 66 but don't let that fool you.
There is water on every hole. Your either surrounded by it on either side of the fairway or going over it to the greens, Oh, and there are houses on whatever side there is no water. I made the mistake of pulling driver too many times. Shot placement in the short grass is important here. The greens were fast and had plenty of elevation changes. Maybe not as long as some of the other courses, but just as tough. I look forward to a return visit.

This is one of 3 courses on the island, and let me tell you I'll be back to play those too. This course was in super shape, the staff was very friendly. The course has it's challenges. Overall it was a great experience and one i plan to repeat!

This course has a nice setup. There are twists and turns. Some great elevation changes. There are some really tight fairways which require placement over distance. It was a really fun day.
The negative side is they could do more for the greens and fairways. The greens were playable but had places that needed attention. The fairways had places of bare ground which could be addressed. There were several fairways that had leaves everywhere which made finding a your ball challenging. That being said it was fun and i will definitely play it again.
