First thing the superintendent apparently decided to punch the fairways while it was way to wet with more rain coming. Made the whole course a mud hole. Barely any grass on course anywhere but the greens. Also the punched around the greens where there wasn't any grass at all. Never had the first good lie with any Grass under ball. Greens are in great shape is the only good thing about Whittle springs golf course. Maintenance really dropped the ball with the planning of aerification of fairways. Wouldn't recommend anyone to play whittle springs until middle of May.

Laurel Valley was a great course and well maintained. After changing to wild laurel I've played it 3 times in the last year and a half and course has been poorly maintained each time I've played. This last time the tees and fairways hadn't been mowed all week and it was Sunday morning. Only a few of the greens had been mowed that day and the cups hadn't been changed in days,the edges of all holes were jagged and rough making hole look smaller. If you plan on playing at wild laurel I would change my plans if I were you. They charge as much as egwani,river islands and centennial but upkeep the course like the old bays mountain golf course. Very disappointed in wild laurel considering for the last year and a half it's been poorly managed. New owners should be ashamed charging what they do for a course that poorly maintained. Wouldn't recommend anyone playing there.

Course is looking and playing great. The Bermuda rough is starting to turn winter brown. Greens accepting ball well and rolling true.

Golf course is in excellent condition. The greens roll at a faster pace than most greens in this area which is a plus for myself.Only negative thing i could say is there is only one guy taking money and no-one in the bar/grill area to take your order.It was sundy afternoon at 1pm and i really expected to be able to order food.Understaffed is not what i expected from a course of this caliber.
