Course was very wet after the snow melt. Fairways were great but are showing some bad areas at the end of the winter. many of the traps are under repair

The course is in excellent condition. The fairways are in terrific condition. The course drains well and there were very few wet areas. The greens were smooth and rolled well. The traps are all under repair, ,but they are working on them. The winter rate for seniors at $40 is a great value. There was a cart girl working, and no other course we have been on in December or January has had a cart girl working. All in all a great day of golf.

The course was in excellent condition, lush fairways and excellent greens. The views of the lake give you a beautiful scene for playing golf. The weather was cold and windy but still a great day on the course. Being retired we tend to play at Stonewall in the winter because the summer rates are too high. One of the best local public golf courses in northern Virginia in terms of challenge and quality.

The greens are plush, almost perfect condition and smooth. They are some of the best I have played this year and way better than you would expect for the cost of the round. The sand traps are fair, not great. The fairways are a little thin, but playable. The owners are repairing the cart paths. I always enjoy playing at Bristow Manor, there are some very tough holes, especially #7 and #8. Glad to recommend the course to anyone as a good value. They need to have a marshall on the weekend to speed up play.

Took a group of 8 friends to play and used one of their six pack deals, $37.50 after 11 AM on the weekend. Price was great. The bermuda grass fairways were like hitting off a full soft carpet. The greens were smooth and a little quick. The staff is friendly and pace of play was good. I play many local courses and none are in better condition. Take the time to go to Pendleton, worth the trip.

The course is in excellent condition, the greens are very nice. The amount of tall grass around the fairways can add up to a lot of lost ball strokes if you are wild, but the fairway landing areas are not extremely tight.
The design is very interesting and the par threes are very cool.

The personnel are great, from the bar to the cart girl and everyone is a pleasure to deal with. The bunkers were in above average condition, they actually have sand in them.

The course is in good condition, they have cut the greens shorter and putting is faster. Course condition is very good. Too expensive for a county course. Holes # 10 and 11 are very difficult.

The fairways were in wonderful condition, and the greens were thick and well maintained except for some small problem areas. Rough was cut to a good level so that you can find your ball and helps keep the pace of play. The sand traps are worst problem at the course, most of them are dirt with a little sand.

Very affordable greens fees. I have played this course for 30 years occasionally, and it is in better condition than ever before. The difficulty level is fair for average golfers and the staff is very friendly. The course drains well even though it is close to Goose Creek and therefore carts are almost always 90 degrees.
