5 1/2 hours extremely slow , but it looks like it is the norm now.
The course is nice it’s in good shape

The course is in great condition, unfortunately it seems they don’t have a Marshall, we had to quit , we got stuck behind a 4 some that each hit at least 4 balls, on every shot.
We were a 2 some and they dint even ask to let us play through, on every tee box, there was us and 3 other groups waiting.

No one show up to speed them up.. shame because the greens and the course is in great shape.

We won’t be going back for a while is not cheap and not being able to enjoy because of slow play is nothing worth the almost 200 bucks that cost to play it.

The course is back in great shape, nice and challenging if you dare to play the back tee’s.

We had a good time.

I rarely or never give 5 stars , but this time, this course was playing perfect, the greens are awesome, the fairways are awesome, pace of play was great.

The pace of play:
It’s great because the starter does a great job on NOT sending singles out.
Single players stuck in front or between groups. Are the ones who slow play, so kudos to the starter great job.

Every course should do that ,
Again this time we play was awesome, hopefully it stays that way.

At the moment, is not worth your time, it looks like they are doing a renovation.
The greens are just bad, the fairways are not good and the tee boxes, are bad as well .

As I say, looks like some renovations is on the way, or at least I hope that is the case.

As per the pace of play, it is the new norm, those who need to take lessons, are out there ruining the rounds but is something you has to deal with this days, we only play 6 holes and quit.

We won’t be going there for a few months until the renovation are completed,. This was the lakes, corse I don’t know know how the forest is playing.

Look if you are a 4 handicap, or. Lower, just know, you would not be able to go on par 5 in 2, there are people on the tee box waiting, and the group on front of is also waiting on the fairways for their the green to clear .

Just go and have fun.! The greens are awesome! I mean perfect,

They do pack it, so you will has to play par 5 as a par eagles out of the equation, make it a 3 shot hole, and yes you will see people waiting for the green to clear, even though they are still 300 yards on a par 4 , that is 400 yards.

We quit on the 18th hole, the group in front of us waited until, the group got off the gree,n!

Maybe a ranger that move people would help, also that group could not get off the tee box, none of them., 3 ballls later they decided to move on and drop .

First it is not cheap, you add another houndred bucks and you can go play the copperhead, where the Val spar torment is played.

Lots of the greens are NOT good at all, it looks like they are doing some kind of renovation ,

Last time I play here was 3 years ago and it was bad, this time fairways are good, the greens not good they are burned out, brown all of then.

But if you can’t get. Tee at the copperhead this is a good option, just know that the greens are not good, at the moment.

We will try in December hopefully everything is back to what it used to be, awesome greens .

5 hour round but that is the norm this days,
Course plays nice just be ware of the 5 hours or so round.

This course is in really good shape, no complaints from us, infact is the first course we have play in a year that actually has good tee boxes, good greens and fairways.
So yea go play it

Pace of play is just bad, 9 holes 3 hours, we quit on the 9 it’s not fun to wait 10 min on every tee box.

This course has never been this bad, I have no idea what is happening, the slow pace of is something we all need to get used to.
So many people that never had a golf lesson out there, but is the new norm.
But the course looking that bad , that I have no idea.

Course is in good condition pace of play is terrible but that is on every course now, so is to be spected.

We love this course, but it’s not in a good shape not sure what happened.

The tee boxes are destroyed, nothing but sand
The greens are not good, there is no grass just dirt, hopefully they are re-doing the greens or someone screw up very bad.

Usually is in shape , again I hope is just renovation.

I leave just about 25 min from this course, I have only played it once years ago, we quit on the 9 it was so so slow.

I decided to try it again, no surprise, 5 hour round extremely slow, no Marshall to move people or to make sure there are no 2 some playing, it’s not hard if it’s very busy pair people up as 4 some.

This place was so busy they ran out of cars, but I guess you had to make the money.

So if you don’t mind a snails pace of play go here.. it is a nice course very nice, oh is also short, you would like it.

Side note: we got pair up with anti va vaccine people and they were so proud of it.

5 1/2 hours, that was brutal, the place is just so so busy, with new golfers, you heard me say this before, is cool that so many new people has taken the game on, but please take lessons learn the fundamentals, if you had to hit 3 balls off the tee box, fine, but make sure there is no other groups waiting on you.
We got stuck behind a 4 some that none could get off the tee box none they hit 4 balls each . On every tee box.
There are no Marshall to keep people moving.
So us and 2 other groups had to wait 10 or 15 min on every tee box, so yea it was bad.
But I get it is nice to be out, just let people through so you don’t hold the flow.

Is a nice course.. not much you can do with the pace of play just deal with it. The course has to make money so spacing groups 10 minutes apart is not economically wise.

I have gotten use to the pace of play on any course by now, since covi started and all of those people who have never pick up a club, decided to inundate the golf courses.
Is all luck now, it can be a 4 hour round or 5 1/2, depends how many of them happens to be in the course.

This golf course is nice, easy actually, you will like it.!

This could be a beautiful track, and it was some years back.
I have no idea what has been happening, the tee boxes are terrible, they had been, this time, it looks like they are going to re-do then, as most of then, you could not use.

They have temporary tee boxes,

Look I hope they are actually doing something to improve the course, as it could be a very very nice track.

we have had lots of rain, so I would speculate and say, that water must have been the reason.

we would try in another 2 years, and check it out, at the moment I don't recommend trying to play this course, or at least the way it was when we play it, it was terrible.

but again, they might be working on improving it, so lets hope that is the case.

It’s been brutal..! Today was a 5 1/2 hours, it’s not fun, the course is the pace of play it’s just awefoul, terrible just terrible.

But is to be espected, it’s snow birds season, the price go up, and the courses are packed.

It’s fine, I’m a local so I just make tee times, where I know the birds have problems getting too., lol

We won’t be going back until December or January, it’s when things kind of go back to a 3 or 4 hours round.
One thing is good, you won’t be buying golf balls for a while this guys buy the expensive ones and loos then all, so go find all bunch of balls lol

With all this new people going to the golf course, just because covi is still everywhere, it’s hard to get a good round in.
Today for example, the group in front of us have no business, being in the golf course.

They can not get off the tee box, but the lady dress like an LPGA tour player, dress and everything.

Look , is fine you want to out there, but damm take lessons, but this also falls onto the rangers, they dont do anything.

The tees are back up with 3 groups watching this people trying to hit a ball off the tee box, and no one does anything, no rangers.

It’s brutal, ..

At the moment, I would not recommend a friend to play this course.

Please note that I play here before, it has not been so bad.

But the last 3 times we quit at the turn

1- The pace of play, it has been just terrible, there is no marshal to speak of, none, there is someone driving a cart with the marshal does nothing.

Case in point today, we had to wait for ever on every tee, because the group in front whom none of could clear the tee box on their shots, had to wait until the group in front was off the green or off the green, seriously.! You cant get off the tee box, and you are waiting for the that is 400 yard away to clear.

2-This a nasty one
The bathroom on the front 9 is in disrepair, the toilet is clogged, and people have been dedicating, on the side, come on! That is nasty.

3-This one is just poor communication, at the pros shop, before you pay, it would be nice if they let you know, that, the course is almost under water, is up to you if you want to play or cancel, most of the holes were just not playable.

I hope to have better news next time, and please at least send someone every 30 minutes to check the bathrooms, and the pace of play.
