Sawmill Creek Golf Resort & Spa
Played On 05/24/2015GREAT WEEKEND GETAWAY COUPLES COURSE
This course is short from the back tees but demanding. You have to leave the driver in the bag for most of the short par 4's and use targets on some of the others. There's a good variety of shots which you could use most clubs in the bag. Course was a little dried out and greens were harder but faster then most.
I would go back again as the price was a deal.

This is a great layout and great conditioned course. Hit it straight or you'll find lots of trouble and recovery shots. Even though the tee times were running late and the round was 5 hours, I enjoyed this course for the first time and will go back again and remember what shots I'd like to make changes to. Fairways and tees were good and the greens were great with good speed. I will definitely go back again more than once.

Played On 09/07/2014FUN COURSE TO PLAY
This course is not long but has some difficult holes and the greens make up for the lack of length. They are sloped on almost every hole and never to many straight putts.
Pace of play was super fast at about 3 hours.
Worth the drive with the deal we had.

Played On 07/13/2014WORTH A GAME TO PLAY THERE
I had seen this course on TV and I always wanted to give it a try. It was worth the wait to finally get there. The course was fun to play with lots of sites and the condition was good except for excessive non-fixed ball marks on the greens. Probably because they are so soft the marks don't get fixed properly but still good to putt on and very receptive. From the back tees there are a number of holes that demand good tee shots.
I enjoyed it and would go back again.

Played On 06/29/2014GOOD SCRAMBLE TYPE>>RISK AND REWARD
This is a great course to hold a scramble. It has long Par 5's good Par 4's and an assortment of Par 3's. There's a couple risk and reward par 4's that are driveable. Fun course to play.
The condition was very good and the greens hold not bad. The only thing I felt was that the greens are grainy and you have to look at how the grain goes to very your speed. I like the course mainly because it is one of those order mature traditional courses that make you think and hit your targets. Nice Course!

Played On 06/21/2014DIAMOND IN THE ROUGH
Course is in great condition. Greens are a little hard due to the lack of rain lately but good as any. I played twice this weekend here and the second time I knew better where to hit it and where not to. Course knowledge helps a lot. Most par 4's you can leave the driver in the bag. Par 5 's are awesome and tricky. Better hit it straight. All in all I enjoyed it and would go back again and recommend it to anyone. The only I would have liked to see is a halfway hut across the road for snacks and refreshments since there is no stopping at the clubhouse between nines.

Played On 06/01/2014GREAT EXPERIENCE
The course was in very good condition, but greens were a little hard. Don't hold as well as I'd like to see but fairways were awesome, well maintained. Price from GolfNow was unbeatable and a bargain and a half. I would go back there anytime. The greens are very large and roll nice. Overall I had a great time and even though the 2 groups in front of me were slow, it was a great day there

Played On 8/19/2012VERY CHALLENGING. GREAT LAYOUT.
If you can hit it long there isn't many tougher courses from the back tees. This course has every conceivable obstecle that makes you want to play it over again. Fairways are good but greens are quick and firm. Most shots don't hold without a good bounce but are definately a true test of your ability. The club house and proshop are amazing looking buildings.
Over all I think everybody that plays there wants another crack at it again to see if you can do better and play a few shots and holes differently.

Played On 8/6/2012GREAT COURSE, GREAT VALUE, COULDN'T BE HAPPIER
When I drove in to the bag drop I wasn't sure what to expect looking at the Club House and Banquet facility. I later learned that you don't go there to play the clubhouse, you go to play an amazing course. The condition was excellent. The greens were fast, soft and very receptive on almost all ball flights.
This course is truly the real deal.
If you're looking for a diamond in the ruff, you don't need to look much further then here. One of the best public courses I have ever been to.
