Haven’t been here for years. Wow. What an improvement. Kudos to the grounds crew and supt. By far he best greens we’ve been in since last fall. Way to go!

For the past 15+ years we've vacationed in the Desert. People think we're nuts going during the summer heat, but we have our pick of courses to choose from and the fees are 1/3 of what they are during the Season. Best yet, the superintendents really can't let them go during the warm months, so most are in decent to great shape. Woodhaven is our favorite. Staff are all warm and friendly and the two of us can usually get around in under three hours. The course isn't championship, but gives enough different looks to not get old or boring. Great place to try out shot selection and save some cash when our home courses are priced way too high for our pocketbook. Already planning this summer's trip!

We're the crazy people who come to the Desert during the summer. While we play all over the PSP area, Woodhaven is our "go to." Can get around in less than 2.5 hours during the summer. Staff is terrific. Course in good shape with the heat. As I write this, I'm thinking, "Why am I telling others about this place?" Been playing here for probably 15 years. In-laws played there before. Great to have the owners take over the course. Perhaps one day, we'll join them.

We've come to the Desert each summer for the last 16 years. Really regret we haven't tried this course before! Staff was super and we played through quickly. Great shape for late July, even with the greens recently reconditioned. We'll be back!

Each time through the Desert we try to find some new courses for the non-scratch duffers like us. My wife and I are summer-only golfers and we're just finding our legs these first rounds. Tried this layout and we were very pleasantly surprised. The weather was expected to be hot, but it stayed reasonable through much of the round. Made it around in under three hours. The course is very forgiving for our game. The few we ran into were gracious and friendly. We'll be back.

We always play four or five times in the summer when we are in town. Staff is great. We can usually get around in under 3 hours. Of course, it is summer in the desert, but the community keeps the course up as well as possible in the heat. Hope to get out a few more times before we head back north.
