Greens Not Up to Par

I have to say I was disappointed by the shape of most of the greens. When I played over Father's Day they rolled true and were in prestine condition. Course is still the best in area but feel as if care for small details dropped a little.

Should be better for its location

I was looking forward to experiencing PGA-type holes but felt a little cheated. The replication of holes was a great idea, but feel they stopped trying to keep it up to par. The course is in a gated community with homes, I am pretty sure, priced easily over $1M. The course, on the other hand, did not live up the expected hype. There were dry patchy areas throughout course, as well as as dry hard bunkers.

I only recommend playing the course at a great GolfNow rate but would never pay the regular price.

Might be best public course in West Texas/Eastern New Mexico

Course was fun to play. It is the longest but the sand traps throughout forces you to think about your next shot.

All you can hit range, chipping, and putting is awesome.

Talking about putting, the greens are fast but true. Once you learn the speed you are good to go.

Look forward to making a monthly visit.

Amazing Views

The course, for the rate we paid, was well worth it. The views are amazing. We enjoyed the elevation changes but do suggest you bring plenty of balls the first time out.

The one negative would be the bunkers - they were either wet or just plain out dry with dirt filling them out and not sand.

Not Worth the Price

The course is a fun one to play, but it could be better. Specifically, the pace of play at beginning of day. Overbooked which forced our 4-some to start on back 9. Then on way back to play 1st hole it was stacked up. We ended up sf starting on 3 and coming back to play holes 1 and 2 last. So, 10-18; 3-9; then finally 1-2. Difficult to build rhythm when we had to change order more than once.
The rate of $65 through GolfNow isn't worth it even with a better pace of play.

Not worth the price

I booked through GolfNow and, based on the ratings, I was expecting to play a great course. The rough was horrible as our 4some lost more than 10 balls that were barely off the fairways. The 3 other gentlemen definitely made the round enjoyable, but I wouldn't return. I have paid less for much better courses.

Good value for the GolfNow rate

The pace could have been a little better as it seems they were packing them in often, but the course was challenging enough for playing at the beginning of golf season.

Great course to play once in a while

The pace was amazing on a Sunday at noon - finished in about 4 hours. The course overall is in good condition, although the bunkers were horrible. Some great views throughout. Would not play on a regular basis, but maybe once a year would be perfect.

Has Been Course - Empty on a Sunday

It is not worth the actual price of $90, but the $45 through GolfNow made it do-able. Having said - horrible hitting bays, no starter, no ranger, bad hole locations. For that price, I suggest going somewhere else.

Great mixture of challenging holes

It was worth the drive and money. The holes were challenging, but doable as long as you stay inbounds. I would definitely do it again once in a while.

Fairways Helped My Iron Game

Although a higher fee to play 18 than my usual courses, I truly enjoyed playing Deerpath. The course is not overbooked, so it moves at a good pace. Also, needing to work on my irons, Deerpath has soft and forgiving fairways for lifting the ball and getting good distance on it. I plan to return again before the summer is over.
