I’m not quite sure how this course is so slow. The course is in desperate need of a ranger or two to speed up the pace of play. 6+ hours for a round is unacceptable.

I have probably played on a more poorly maintained course, but I can’t remember when. They pride themselves on the difficulty of the course, and that is fine, but if you’re going to make the layout difficult, you need to maintain the fairways and tee boxes. Most of the fairways and approaches are hitting off sand and the greens are all pock marked. The grassy parts of the fairways are crabgrass. I can’t recommend this course.

Overall the value for the money at this course is poor. The tee boxes are in a state of disrepair and the greens a pock marked with ball marks. Course was very damp with poor drainage throughout most fairways. Would be for a price point much lower than $80
