Stonebridge at Newport
Played On 09/05/2020Course loaded with golfers
Considering the amount of golfers on the course, I assume the course has a steady amount of money coming in because of the reasonable price. I played with a couple regulars and they said the course is always packed on weekends. The maintenance of the course is really lacking. Covid 19 does not affect the maintenance issues of a course if the Manager cares at all. If they maintained the course better and spread out the tee times five more minutes per group, the course would really be a hidden gem.
Memorial Park Golf Course

Waited fifteen yrs to play this course and the second my foot touched the first tee box rain started to fall--@#$%! Luckily, the rain stopped after 15 min., and the course handled the deluge well. The only puddles on the course were on the cart paths. Enjoyed the round with the help of Marshal's actually doing a good job keeping groups where they belonged.
Fallen Oak Golf Course

Course was nearly empty considering I played on a weekday and you have to be staying at the hotel to get on. Best feature of the round was the conditioning of the course--greens, fairways and tee boxes all in pristine condition. Ball sat up nicely in every fairway and greens rolled true.
Cardinal Golf Club - Blue Course
Played On 04/18/2016Fort Lee Army post 27-hole review
The 3 separate nines on Fort Lee's course are in the worst shape they have been in in roughly two years. VERY little maintenance is performed on the course outside of mowing. Sprinklers have not been turned on once in six months and the ground is hard as asphalt constantly. Bunkers, tee boxes are in terrible shape. Course is used by mostly retirees and civilians that don't repair ball marks, fix divots or rake bunkers. Until the manager makes an effort to care, stay away if you are looking for a course with good conditions.
