Admittedly I played this course in August in 100 degree temps but it is still in awful condition except for the greens. To charge $375 per person for dead grass is just not fair. They should alert people when the course is like this. It is like playing off of hardpan most of the way. There is no driving range. You get to 'warm-up' hitting into a net. For $375 you expect a lot of extra perks but there weren't any. And, since you have to take a forecaddie (typically $50 per player) I ended up paying $850 for my wife and me. The caddy was wonderful, by far the best part of the round, but that couldn't compensate for the poor condition of the course and the lack of a driving range. I hear it is much better later in the year so maybe it just means you don't want to play in the summer.
