Played On 07/06/2020Nice scenic course
Enjoyed my round at Rio Pinar. Beautiful course, landscaping, and good conditions. Greens were smooth but not fast. A few greens were recovering from dead patches but most were in good shape. Fairways are in great shape, however the rough can be a little deep making it hard to find your ball in 2” high soft Bermuda grass in some areas. I love the layout, the scenic way water hazards are used, and the fact that houses aren’t in play. The score card and signage don’t show creeks etc, recommend using a gps app to map hazards.
La Cita Country Club
Played On 05/31/2020Greening up nicely
Recent rain has really improved the overall course. There was an airification alert on Golfnow but the greens were pretty good despite recovering from maintenance. Really enjoy playing LaCita, the giant oaks, interesting layout and strategic challenges make for a fun competition.

Played On 05/04/2020Great fairways, punched greens
Fairways clean and mowed tight. Tee areas are dry and have some sandy areas. Greens have recently been punched and still a little bumpy. Don’t get me wrong this is a well maintained course. Underbrush and lake edges are under control. Gas powered carts so no battery concerns. This course is a great value and at times in great condition. Great variety of holes.

Very friendly check in and staff.
Tee areas, fairways, bunkers, and greens all well maintained. Although there are houses they are out of the way. Water hazards are kept trim to the edges. Clean sand in all bunkers. Pace of play excellent, 3.25 hours with a foursome. Many of the holes are straight forward. Greens were very fast and challenging. Overall very nice course.
Wow, we are so happy you enjoyed your round, GregB99! We look forward to seeing you again soon.
Turtle Creek Golf Club
Played On 03/14/2020Good greens Bring balls
Really enjoyed our day at Turtle Creek. The greens were healthy, lush, somewhat slow and bumpy, needed to be trimmed tight. However the slower speed was consistent and predictable. Tee areas in great conditions. The layout has several parallel fairways so golfers need to be aware of errant shots crossing fairways. Bunker sand soft and well maintained. Lots of water hazards bring extra balls Ranger very RUDE TONE at the turn, saying we were slow. We weren’t, we had to wait on group ahead for our next tee shot. We golf to relax and have a pleasant day, having the staff unjustly scorn us is upsetting.

Nice little course. Tee areas, fairways, and greens very good. Perimeters also well maintained

Played On 02/04/2020Good turf and greens
Nice round on well maintained course. The fairways were nicely mowed and drives rolled well. They have cutback some of the surrounding brush to maintain good margins. The greens were fast despite showing some remediation efforts. Pace of play was 4.25 hours (4:15) and everyone on the course was friendly. First timers allow an extra 5-10 minutes travel time due to gated entry and long access drive with slow speed limits.
La Cita Country Club
Played On 07/08/2020Great track
No complaints. There was an aerification alert but light punch holes didn’t affect play. Some great strategy holes like #6 with a dogleg left, fairway slopes to pond, then green elevation is up 50’+. The back nine starts with a straight ahead par 4, but then it gets pretty interesting with club choice and terrain.
Hi GregB99. We appreciate you taking the time to review the course and rate us. Thank you for the 4 stars! Thank you for playing La Cita Golf & Country Club.
Wedgefield Golf & Country Club
Played On 04/06/2020Fun course slow greens
Thanks for for being open during covid-19! Really enjoyed the parkland style open layout. Tee areas and fairways were average. The greens are undergoing overseeding and were not cut close. Some greens were lush with all new growth and some were patchy and bumpy. Probably the slowest greens I’ve ever played and definitely resulted in many short putts. Hopefully it’s a temporary situation (my first time playing here). A couple areas the landscaping was neglected with uprooted plants just laying around (doesn’t effect play). I’ll definitely play there again with the hope the greens have improved.
Ken McDonald Golf Course
Played On 11/12/2019Wide open fun
Great municipal parkland style course. The tees are excellent, fairways nicely mowed but of course Bermuda is going dormant and losing its color. The greens were a bit slow due to the soft seasonal grass coming through. The pro shop was very efficient at starting groups on time. Pace of play excellent, finished under 4 hours, (started just before noon). If you need ice you can get it from the bar or the cart girl. Cold water fountains Also on course.

Really nice course. Super friendly service from everyone. Somehow I was solo and did not encounter any other golfers ahead or behind me. Course was in great shape. Free range balls and GPS in the carts. Interesting elevation and rolling fairways.
Terrific! We are so pleased that you enjoyed your time at ChampionsGate Golf Club. We look forward to seeing you at the course soon for another 5-star experience!
Whirlwind Golf Club - The Cattail Course
Played On 10/05/2019Premium level resort course
Beautiful and challenging course set in wide open desert and no homes nearby. I received attentive friendly service from the moment I arrived. Booked solo through Golfnow and was placed with a group of three great players. Free balls on practice range, GPS in cart, beautiful landscaping , and excellent course conditions. Features elevated tees and greens, some slope and challenging hole placements on green, and enough sand in bunkers to allow a proper out. This place is popular so expect sold out schedule and therefore 4-4.5 hour pace. Enjoy!!
Scottsdale Silverado Golf Club
Played On 10/04/2019Nice forgiving course
Great course with wide fairways.
Course had just reopened after over seeding and as advertised was cart path only, which of course effected the pace of play. I still gave it an overall 5 star recommendation. I’m sure once the cart restrictions are lifted the course will be immaculate with normal pace of play. The only negative I have is they do not have a practice driving range. Instead they have two nets you can hit your own balls into before the first tee. I’d definitely come back.

First class experience at this beautiful resort course! Friendly and helpful staff. The carts have flatscreen display with GPS distance and course layout. Nice driving range with complementary range balls. Very nice facilities with a snack bar and air conditioned restrooms. Beautiful clubhouse with excellent bar and restaurant.
The course is in great shape with picturesque landscaping . Wide fairways, nicely cut rough. Easy to find wayward balls. Unlike most courses, they trim the turf all the way to the water’s edge. Greens were a little slow and almost fully recovered from aeration. Highly recommend this course.!
Harmony Golf Preserve
Played On 09/17/2019Beautiful wide open course
Played midday on a Tuesday and didn’t encounter any other players. Really liked how wide open this course played. Homes are far from fairways and separated by green spaces. The course was well cut and groomed. The greens were smooth, beautiful, and somewhat fast. Lots of rolling terrain and interesting bunkers. We also enjoyed a fantastic lunch in the clubhouse restaurant.
Great Outdoors RV & Golf Resort
Played On 09/10/2019Great course, recent aeration
Course has recovered from the heavy rainfall last month. Fairways are in great shape. They were mowing the rough as we we played today and getting it tamed. Although the greens were spiked and sanded yesterday they weren’t too bad. They work hard to maintain this course. All the tee areas were in great shape too.
Great Outdoors RV & Golf Resort
Played On 07/30/2019Nice turf
Greens, tees, and fairways in great shape. Played at 9:30 on a weekday, some groups were slower but not too bad. Many homes alongside the course. Allow a few extra minutes to get through gate and slow speed access road.
Great Outdoors RV & Golf Resort
Played On 10/23/2019Great conditions
Tees, fairways, and greens in excellent shape.
Despite being booked up (due to excellent weather) we were able to start on time and finished in 4 hours.
This course trails through a RV community. Sometimes the structures are near the course but mostly it’s bounded by nature. Scattered fairway bunkers and very few bunkers near greens.
Matched up with three other nice players. Staff friendly and great bar and restaurant at clubhouse.
We agree--the course is looking great! Be sure to book your next tee time with us super soon!
