Fabulous layout
This is a great links style layout with the prevailing ocean winds challenging your shotmaking ability. The greens rolled very true and smooth even though they were just aerated 2 weeks ago. Best course in OBX

I always look forward to playing Tam O Shanter each year.
This course represents a good value overall. I have played here for more than 25 years and it is always in good shape. The proshop is excellent.

Excellent
I have played every public track within 75 miles of Pittsburgh and this course remains in the top tier among moderately priced courses. It is always in excellent condition and the setting in the Laurel Valley is one of the most picturesque anywhere.
