Troy, the owner, is very welcoming. Holes very in length from 50 yards to 145 yards. Beer available from lost&found. Pay a donation for them finding you a cold one.

Played at noon and was off by 3 on a Thursday. Didn't see many others out. Fun course. Nice views.

Bear's Best is a fun course to play. Carts have large information tablets with GPS and displays the course name each hole is designed from. Higher than normal ball marks on greens which can probably be attributed to it being a tourist course. Followed a tournament that started 2 hrs before. Things came to a stand still after 11 holes. I finished 18 in the dark. Staff was quick to say there wouldn't be a problem when I asked before hand..

Played a 3 hour round by myself. Not crowded in the afternoon. Greens were in the best shape I've ever played them but its been a good spring for greens at many SW Washington courses. Course is fairly open and off target balls can be found and played.

South and East course have good caricature. West course has good water features and a little flatter.

Mature course, challenging with ample hazards. Decent greens. Plays well year round. Easy to walk. Range and 7 hole par 3. Best value in SW Washington.

A 9-hole executive course, newer clubhouse with great restaurant.
Easy walkiing, relatively flat. They take great care of the greens and tee boxes.

Beautiful course on the bank of the Lewis River. 600+ yard #12. Good greens.
