The Golf Club at Hawks Prairie - The Woodlands
Played On 04/18/2015Great Track
Course will be great in May and the coming summer.........greens still bumpy from aeration but we're still very good...........pace of play was 3 hours and 25 minutes for 18 with a cart on a nice Saturday so that was awesome..............staff was great and friendly..........for 35 dollars the woodlands was a steal I love this course............it's a must play challenging championship course
Salish Cliffs Golf Club
Played On 04/06/2015A must play
The course is a beautiful track........challenging from the tournament tees..........greens were recovering from being punched so they were a little rough but come middle spring and summer the greens will be phenomenal............the staff is good but their dress code is too strict..........I had expensive under Armour mesh active wear pants on with a collared shirt............I was told they were sweat pants because they had an elastic waist band so they gave me a pair of rain pants...........this course is a must play for anyone

So our original tee time was 845 am as booked on golf now. When we arrived at the first tee for our time and found a three some and another four some. We were suppose to play as a foursome with another two some, however we were told the three some always plays at 845 every morning so the pro shop messed up. So we went out as a two some then joined up with the three some and played with five for two holes and kept up with the group in front of us. The course marshal said we had to break up.
So we broke up. My playing partner and I waited on every shot after that on the front nine for no less than five minutes. Once we got through the front nine and reached the back nine we had to advise the marshal of the extremely slow play. We finally played through and the course was wide open for the back.
Secondly they were having construction on a "water reclamation project" that took two holes out of service. Once being a par 5 and the other being a par 4. The par 5 played 272 yds and the par 4 played 168. They put the tees out in the middle of the fairway on both holes.
Next the greens were terrible. It appeared they had died in some spots as it was just dirt. Greens were very slow and inconsistent and had grass clippings all over. Secondly another worker had a large fan blowing the fairway and numerous times as people were hitting there second shots from the fairway he would be driving right at them telling them too hit.
Finally I paid 11 dollars for two "brats" aka a hot dog with pepper in it. There were not good.
I have played the Valley numerous times in the past and was farely taken back by its condition.
Lake Land Village Golf Course - Generation I & II Course
Played On 08/02/2014Lakeland Village
All in all it was an ok day of golf. I played with my friend and we decided on Lakeland Village. Even for all the hot dry weather the course was fairly soft. Numerous greens on the Gen 2 side were very soft. Around the hole was farely torn up with numerous indentations from foot traffic. The Gen 3 side was pretty good and longer.
