Friends and I have played Sawmill in the past and the course was unbelievable. The course is difficult enough for the good players yet, friendly to the lesser skilled..
Today, I drove an hour and twenty just to play this gem and I was very disappointed with the conditions.
The fairways were burned and hard while the greens were long and shaggy. I understand the weather is hot but, you have to dump some water on the course to make it playable.

The course was in wet conditions with a fair amount of rain the night before. There are some difficult par 5 and I liked the three consecutive Par 5 in a row. Some of the par 3 are difficult with the length but was playing from the tips the entire day. There are at least 4 holes where trees actually obstruct the green preventing you from pin seeking. Overall its a nice course and was worth the GN green fee.

Bring your "A" game to score well. One of the more difficult courses I've played in Ontario
