The grass on the course is in great condition. But the sand traps are like partially dried cement, in serious need of repair!! The black tees were so far back on the tee boxes your feet were often times not level, and your back swing would hit trees behind. We had to tee off from the middle of the boxes and ignore the markers. A little management here would go a long way.

This course is not reday for play. One of the slowest rounds ive played this year. The fairways cannot be distinguished from the rough and we had to spend time loking for balls in the middle. The greens are still grainy and hard, but the fairways are overgrown and soggy. At least it wasnt expensive!

Great value for such a nice course. AZ National is one of my favorites in Tucson. It was in excellent shape and the staff was great.

It's a little tricky visually the first time you play it and the tiers in the greens would take some getting used to. The course is in excellent condition. The staff is very friendly. The greens are smooth and soft although slightly slower than they look. Definitely worth the $, worth the drive and worth coming back!
