Georgia Veterans Memorial Golf Course at Lake Blackshear Resort & Golf Club
Played On 02/24/2017Great value
Not a typical state park golf course. Ran more like a country club without the high prices.. plenty of challenging holes, well groomed, and hazards. My wife also enjoyed the course.
Butternut Creek Golf Course
Played On 08/27/2016Affordable mountain golf
Pleasantly surprised with the level of golf around $45. Played Friday in 3.5 hours and Saturday a little over 4 hours. Good scenery with creeks and wildlife and a drivable par 4 gives you opportunities to score. Lots of short irons int greens. Well worth the time and money.
St. James Bay Golf Club
Played On 07/07/2016Quirky course with slow greens
Desk staff offered very little help with tee times, specials, or course assistance. Some of the holes have very quirky yardage a and mandatory lay-ups. Greens were below the standards for $60 golf. The overall course scenery was beautiful.
Viera East Golf Club
Played On 12/21/2015Friendly and challenging
Staff was helpful and friendly. My group had 8 thru 22 handicap and three different tee boxes. All were challenged but enjoyed the course. Greens were a little slow.
Great Outdoors RV & Golf Resort
Played On 07/10/2015Best value in Cocoa area
What an underplayed gem. I am a 7 handicap and my wife is a 20 handicap and we both loved it. I have played most of the courses in the Cocoa area but this is my new favorite. The staff was friendly and went out of their way to help, good rolling greens, wide fairways, beautiful wildlife area, and very relaxed atmosphere. For the money this is a great course.
Kingwood Golf Club & Resort
Played On 07/10/2014low pressure golf
Great mountain course. My wife and I played two days in a row. Several holes have great Vista's with creeks bordering many holes. The greens were like glass. I really enjoyed how far the ball traveled.
Turtle Creek Golf Club
Played On 04/26/2014water everwhere
Very busy on Saturday but organized. The course has water o virtually every hole, but also has many reachable opportuities for the low handicapper. The wind protected the scores.
Jekyll Island Golf Club - Pine Lakes Course
Played On 8/18/2012Great value and scenery
Great value! My wife and I were amazed at the number of deer on the course. As a 8 handicap I found the course very enjoyable with doglegs left and right and just enough hazards. Everyone can play this course.
