Shelburne Golf and Country Club
Played On 07/04/2015A very pleasant surprise!
First time playing and I really enjoyed this course.. The course was in great condition. The staff were extremely friendly. It took us 3 1/2 hours to play. The course was very quiet and we would have been done even quicker if not for catching up to a very slow foursome on the last few holes.
I would consider the course very easy to play but ithat is perfect for my game. It is very wide open and quite forgiving. Not a lot of spots to get in big trouble.
The only negative was the beer cart girl. We saw her 3 times on the course but she never came by us which seemed odd considering there was hardly anyone on the course.
Legacy Ridge Golf Club
Played On 05/19/2014Nice Little Track
First time playing here and really enjoyed the round. A nice mix of target golf and let her rip golf. I'm sure I'll shave 10 strokes next time here just by knowing the course. All staff were super friendly.
Only big negative was the round was too slow about 4 1/2 hours. Pretty much waiting on every hole. Didn't seem overly crowded either just too slow.
Will play again for sure with a Golfnow deal.
Cranberry Golf Course
Played On 9/6/2013Forgiving but Fun
Course is in good condition. Very wide open so it's pretty forgiving on those mishits. Staff are super friendly.....probably best in the area. Only draw back is course can be slow at times as you get a lot of "resort" golfers. Overall really enjoy playing here.
Glen Eagle Golf Club - Blue/Yellow
Played On 8/15/2013Great Course - Great Value!
Course was in great shape. Greens consistently rolled true. Fun course to play. My buddy was late on a day when course was full. Starter was very accomodating and managed to squeeze us in shortly after he arrived. Can't wait til the next time I play here!
The Golf Club at Lora Bay
Played On 8/01/2013Way overpriced unless you get a deal on Golfnow
Very nice course. Very challenging. Not many "easy" holes. Disappointed that the beverage girl had already called it a day by 3:30 on a Thursday afternoon. Would have liked a beer or two during our round. Not worth paying the standard green fees rate but if you can get a deal on Golfnow then it's worth it. Wouldn't pay more than $80 to play here.
Duntroon Highlands Golf Club
Played On 7/28/2013A very fun course to play!
We got a very early tee off and finished in 3 1/2 hours. First time playing and we were surprised to see what great condition the course was in. Greens were fast and true. There was a nice mixture of holes between those where you could pull out your driver and let it rip and those where you had to really think about your tee shots. I'm not a very good golfer (about a 25 handicap) due to lack of playing (at least that's what I tell myself!) but I think all levels of golfer would enjoy this course.
Loved the course and I would play it again in a heart beat!
