Course is in excellent shape. Unless you can really drive, suggest you swallow your pride and move up a tee bos. Most holes are long and they all seem uphill.

Course is in good shape, especially the greens. A bit of work being done on some bunkers but refreshing to actually see sand for a change. Many courses have forgotten that bunkers should have sand, not Georgia clay.
A bit pricey for a municipal course. $7 for small bucket of range balls, then having to hit from Mars is unacceptable.

I planned to play as a single Golfer but was invited to join a senior scramble/best ball ( 70+ years old) by the starter. It was a fun experience, and I enjoyed playing with a group as well as playing the course. Pace of play was a little slow four and a half hours but I enjoyed the camaraderie and the play. Great value and nice course.

This is a challenging course where accuracy is more important than distance. Fairways are typically bare since it’s January but the greens were in great shape!, Most of the sand traps needed some work. I will look forward to a return visit once the grass resumes spring growth.

It was very emotional send them virtually all the bunkers. No fun hitting from a trap, especially if it’s red clay. Come on DeKalb County buy some sand!

I played early morning on July 26, 2013. If you missed a fairway you were in very high rough that would exceed the standards for the pros at the US Open. I missed a few fairways by 5-10 feet and could not find my ball. On several holes where they'd mowed, the dried grass camouflaged balls. Please keep the rough mowed & raked.
On the plus side, the practice facility: driving range, putting and chipping greens and adjacent sand trap set-ups is excellent.
