Woodlands at Sunriver Resort
Played On 09/11/2017I moved to Sunriver so I could play here a lot
I live on the 16th fairway of the Sunriver Woodlands golf course. Can't get enough of the course. I do play the other Sunriver courses and enjoy them also. The greater Central Oregon area has lots of really great courses. One of the advantages of playing here is that the fairways and greens are in great shape and are not beat to death by excess playing. I use an annual pass so I can play whenever.
Woodlands at Sunriver Resort
Played On 09/14/2016Challenging but fun.
I live in Sunriver, on the 16th Fairway of the Woodlands. I purchase an annual pass so I can play either the Woodlands or Meadows as often as possible. Love both courses. Woodlands is a bit more challenging and has varied features. Water comes into play, fairways can be a bit narrow, most greens are elevated. Grass beyond the mowed rough can be very thick so accurate shots are best. Greens run very true and can be fast. McDivots is where you can get food and beverages or from the beverage cart. Both are OK, but McDivots closes too early. Beautiful scenery.
Meadows at Sunriver Resort
Played On 09/12/2016An Updated Classic Golf Course
I live in Sunriver and have an annual pass so I can play the Meadows and Woodlands as often as possible. Never get tired or bored with the courses. The Meadows has rebuilt all of their bunkers with a new concept. High grass around them and soft sand in them. Very interesting. They have a great practice bunker that should be used to get the feel of the sand. The driving range is great.
Most of the course is level. There are a few water hazards but nothing too difficult. A few of the fairways are in the woods and are narrow and long. Some of the fairways are in the open which can expose you to the wind. The greens are all newly seeded and are very true. Course maintenance is great. The main Sunriver Resort Lodge is at the start and end of each 9 holes. Great place to relax after a round.
