First time I played the course and would HIGHLY recommend. Many different types of holes, doglegs, fairway bunkers, water, undulating greens. It has it all. 18th hole is a par 5 with water down the right side and bunkers in play all the way down. Big fan of this course. 19th hole was modern, staff was friendly. Worth the trip.
Seaview - The Pines Course

Pines Course was entertaining to play. Considered it a bit redundant with more than a handful of holes dogleg right. Greens were very healthy with true rolls, but somewhat furry. The rough was also healthy and punitive. Pace of play was brisk. I would recommend it as a solid course. reminded me of Saratoga State Park in Upstate NY.

Greens are brutally tough. No easy two putts to be had. Plays long and uphill on many of the holes. One of the nicest courses in the area.

One of the premier facilities in the Capital District. Staff always attentive and friendly. Course is narrow, and you need to be able to hit different shots off the tee and from the fairways.
Not many flat lies on the fairways.
Do not think you can fly the greens and chip back down. Much better off landing short and putting up to the cup. Course is always immaculate, and greens are always fast.

Although they changed the name a few years ago, it is still the "same old, same old."
Old as in ancient marshalls who pay no attention to pace of play.
Front 9 is ridiculously short, and although the back 9 has some nice holes, it took forever to get there. NOT WORTH IT.
