Baytree National Golf Links
Played On 11/26/2018One of the best values in Brevard County
Baytree is a challenging track with beautiful views, some challenging holes and a few blind tee shots. I’m a 16 handicap and I usually can’t shoot my handicap on this course, but it’s my favorite course in southern Brevard County, where I spend a few months each winter.
The fairways were in good shape (Florida has had a dry spell Greens were okay and pretty fast. Cups were rough around the edges.
Pacing was good. We had a foursome of locals on us on our tails for the front nine, but we moved along and finished in four hours. They even had a cart woman out on a Monday!
For newbies - you can’t take your carts to your cars, so use the bag drop and tip the attendant a few bucks. With the bargains available on GN, you can afford a nice tip!
Turtle Creek Golf Club
Played On 11/24/2014Good value - non-pretentious public course.
I have played this course 4 times over past 6 months. It's a good public course with some challenging holes. Staff is courteous and friendly. Gas-powered carts. Front nine is typical Florida course - palms and pine trees. Lots of water along fairways. I lost a few balls. Back nine reminds me of older Florida - oak trees and Spanidh moss. Parts of course are very close to I95 and noisy. Overall a great value when scheduling through GolfNow.
