Plenty of water but mostly out of play. Fair greens. Good bunkers. Lots of trees but again not in play. Just a friendly old Florida track with nice people running it.

Very nice old Florida course. Not woven through houses, an old style course, very walk-able. Greens fast and smooth. Most bunkers were good, but some had packed sand - enough sand, just not well worked. Giving them some slack because it has not rained in a month and there is the virus problem so I don't know if they are short of staff. Pace of play was excellent, did not wait for those in front of use but twice and never saw anyone behind us.

Good consistent conditions. Over seed just starting to fill in. Very good conditions for this time of the year - between seasons. Bag Drop / cart attendant / starter (one guy) could have been a little more informative - well make that could have been at all informative. Didn't tell us anything. He was no where to be found when it got to our tee time and we had to ask where the first tee was located. Some signs around, but poorly placed so we to figure it out. Otherwise, a good experience.

Labor day, think there was a lot of play or outings, only reason I didn't offer 5 stars was the condition of the greens. LOTS of ball marks and scuffs. Think at after a week, the greens could heal nicely and there would be a problem. Exceptional course otherwise. Always fun.

Interesting course. Rolling hills, lots of trees, trout steams, no sand. Several blinks shots. Tricky greens. A very pleasant round of golf. Not something you would want to walk and longer playing than the yardage would indicate. Great restaurant. Have played it for many years, both when it was "needy" and now that is greatly improved.

Very nice course, good condition and we'll maintained. Good restaurant, bar, facilities and pro-shop. Very friendly and informative staff.

Greens were fast and true. Wind is the course's defense, that and first timers (and maybe second and third also) need a guide or map. Lots of blind shots. On 18 my partner and I were first looking the wrong direction from the tee. Fun course, will play again ( tomorrow).

Fairways thin, greens just aerated. Pace of play great, nobody there. Not a bad layout, like many courses, needs money to bring it up to par.

Very nice course. Overbooked with mixed skill levels which is typical this time of year. Still a gread day if you keep in mind not to make an early dinner reservation. Don't even think about walking.

Pace of play was slow. Fairway grass was pretty thin, but this seems to be a theme in Gulf Coast Florida this year. Greens were recently top dressed but fast and true. Overall a very nice tract.

Course is ok, HOWEVER, they do not seem to have a computer. Althought they use online booking services, they also take tee times over the phone, major double booking. We had a 9:44 tee time and waited on 8 groups on the tee for an outting! An hour late teeing off. Nice old course, but . . . .

I will not be back

First time here. Understand the greens were new, maybe 6 months. Roll was true. A couple of the greens were still pretty firm. Recent top dressing slowed them down some, but overall they were very good. Fairways could use some better overseed. Very, very thin. Recent rain made the fairways muddy since there was little grass so we were rolling the ball to better lies. Overall a good value with discounted prices.

Knowing where to hit the ball helps. Second round will be more fun. Greens were a litte shaggy from all the rain and overseed but should be much better when dry enough to mow and roll. Hard to loose a ball unless you hit it in the water, and there is plenty of that. Don't try to walk, it is a mile between some of the holes, but the houses are not too close to the fairways. GREAT food at the resturant next door.

Water in play on some holes. Good value for the money.
