Arrived an hour early to try and get on early, was told I could not, saw multiple small groups go out, was paired with a group of 3 with only 2 sets of clubs causing delays, they realized I was waiting on every hole so they allied me to go on ahead of them, got at least 2 sometimes 3 holes ahead but was behind a group of 4 who were behind a group of 2, decided to leave after 13, hope to have better luck since I loved the course layout.

Showed up for an 8 am tee time to 15 groups wanting to tee off. Multiple groups of 5 going out, finally teed off at 9am. Marshall was out on first par 3 asking everyone to wave up.. made sense since every tee box was backed up. I never complain about slow pace since we are playing , enjoying beverages and conversations, but this was beyond ridiculous. Clear display of BAD course management and over booking!

Paid over $50 for punched greens, 10 minute wait on every hole, fairways were in the worst condition I’ve seen in a while. Not worth the cost to play here,.. never again!

My favorite course on the island, worth every penny

Out of all the local courses, this one always tends to be in great shape, but this time pace of play had us done in 4 hours which is unheard of over the weekend.
I will always jump of any available tee times, even though I’ll pass about 10 golf courses on my way here!

Great value for course conditions. Greens were very good, fairways, like most courses now a days, challenged. Because of the low price, I would absolutely return as the pace of play was a steady 4 hours which is in heard of on a Saturday morning. Staff was extremely friendly, from the pro shop that knew how to take care of players according to tee times, to starters directing a new course player to right tee times to Marshals who stuck around to give course advice. I would absolutely recommend to others.

Greens are recuperating after being punched, should be much better by end of October. Fairways are in decent shape, truly cannot complain about this course and look forward to playing it again soon.

With other courses over charging every weekend, it was refreshing that San Dimas pricing has not changed and course is in good shape.

Glenn Ivy has really kept this place up, even with this current heatwave, this course is well worth the money.

Bar staff and cart staff were very friendly, can’t say the same for the guy in the pro shop. Lay out is great, tee boxes and greens were well kept but the fairways seem very neglected. As are the traps, some are actually sand, but most are just dirt, mud or rocks. Shame to, if they would just water the greens more, it would make for a much better course, every shot from the fairway just felt like you’re hitting off concrete. We Won’t be back until We hear if they are keeping up on maintaining those fairways. Photos look great because it’s a great layout, just spend some money to keep up on those fairways.

Rough around the fairways were horrible, we lost one of our playing partners today, had to send out a search party to find him.

I don’t play a course based off staff friendliness, if I did , I wouldn’t play here much. The course layout is challenging and it helps to play with a good group. I do miss the fall and winter rates and will probably not come back till the prices go back down to affordable.

I wish I would have been told I had 3 1/2 hours to finish the course before the carts switched off. Great course, will have to start earlier to make sure I can finish the course. If course is going to shut down at 430, they should have a Marshall on course making sure groups play ready golf.

This was by far the best experience I have ever had here. Pace was GREAT, only waited on a couple holes, single behind us never rushed us or even needed to play through. Overall, everything was great

Best course in OC, I can understand why the normal cost is so high, just a beautiful course, but the only way I can afford it is to golf during the week for a reasonable cost.

I have been playing this course for about 4 years now, and after a short period of seeing horrible course conditions, Greens, fairways and bunkers are so much better. I am glad to see this local course make such great improvements.

Really wish the fairways were as green as the photos. Doesn't seem like owner wants to keep fairways maintained. No cups for water/Ice Dispensers at it was a hot one, No beverage cart either. Must have been purchased by a non golfer. Bar food and staff were wonderful. This is just NOT what was expected by a course surrounded by such beautiful homes.

Course is priced just right compared to surrounding courses. Wouldn't pay more than 60 for this course though. No beverage cart, no marshals controlling pace of play. Heard a foursome a few groups behind laugh about hitting up on group in front, no order on course.

If they closed the front 9 and just offered a turn around of the back 9 for 18, this course would have gotten all 5 stars from me. Front nine was not very well kept with crab grass on the greens and one hole that looked like it was filled with lunar craters. Don't understand how one side can differ so much. Staff was pleasant.
