St. Marys Golf and Country Club
Played On 08/22/2023Ariss Valley Golf and Country Club - Lakes Course
Played On 10/05/2022Grass?
Fairways for the most part a dirt or weeds. Greens as well are iffy to say the least. Again very patchy with poor grass coverage. Bunkers are a joke as most have sunk and sand disappearing. That being said the bunkers are full of stones. They should be just filled in. The tee boxes are a mess to say the least and bring along a hammer to get your tee in the ground. The discount GN rate made it easier to swallow but I sure would not pay full price.
Sally Creek Golf Club & Bistro

Sally Creek will test every part of you game as at times target golf with the odd opportunity to grip and rip. Situated in a beautiful creek valley where the creek comes into play several times. Worth the trip.
Bigwin Island Golf Club
Played On 06/19/2019Hang on to your clubs
This was my second time this year playing at Bigwin. I played with a group of 12 friends. After the round my clubs mysteriously disappeared between the dock and the parking lot. It took them 5 days to look at the surveillance video in the secured parking lot. Then I was lied to about when they would be returned after they discovered their employee had stuck them in the wrong vehicle. The final insult was the CEO telling me that they would graciously look after the shipping costs of my clubs. He then offered a free round to my wife and I the next time we were in the area. We live 4.5 hours away and I said we don’t get up that way very often. Let’s understand giving me a free round of golf would not cost them anything as the course is already open and paid for. Squeezing in another 2 would amount to nothing.
I have played at Bigwin at least 5 times with corporate partners and I will promise this will be the last.
Ps- finally got my clubs back, only missing a sleeve of balls. Not a note or anything from Bigwin apologizing for the issue.
Highlands Reserve Golf Club
Played On 03/09/2019Looks good from a distance
The course overall is interesting. Greens are challenging even with the green paint to make up for their lack of grass. Fairways by in large were patchy with a lot of bare dirt patches. Pace was ok but the front nine having a par 3, short par 4 and then another par 3 lends itself to backing up groups.
The driving range is in horrible condition as it is difficult to find grass to hit off of. Staff are the best thing about this place...
Disney's Magnolia Golf Course
Played On 03/07/2019A Disney Experience!
Typical of Disney that every aspect of the experience is assured to give guests an unforgettable time. From the staff, to the course, to the scenery, to the pace of play and wildlife, we had a terrific time. Ed, the Marshall & Starter was most helpful and in particular in helping to retreave my wife’s lost club.
White Heron Golf Club
Played On 02/28/2019Pathetic Excuse For A Golf Course
This might have been a nice course at one time but unfortunately it smells like it is doing under. There is no money being put back into this facility. The tee boxes are mainly bare and you are eccentially hitting off either dirt or sand. You have to play “winter rules” as in most cases the fairways are mud or dirt and you usually need to move your ball to find grass. They should almost give you carry mats to hit off of. And then we get to the greens...terrible is an understatement, putting is a waste of time in most cases. Even for the current low price, you would be better off to pay a farmer to play in his pasture. On top of all this the one day we played there was 1 person on hand to run the whole show, inside and outside. Save your money and don’t waste you time.
