Lake Land Village Golf Course - Generation I & II Course
Played On 04/30/2019Good to be playing
Just returned to golf after being off a while from foot surgery. Course conditions were excellent except for the aeration of the greens but what can you do about that?
But by having my foot recuperating I was forced to rent a cart. I was blown away that the rental for 18 holes was $16.00! Now I was figuring the normal $10 fee but when the cart costs one and a half times as much as the hot deal price that's crazy! No wonder there are so many of them sitting there all the time.
It took a couple of holes to get over the sticker shock, then it was a good day of golf.

Yes, it is winter ball. And yes, in regards to the fairways, you get what you get. But not taking care of the greens is inexcusable. I am not talking about cutting them, as with the rain and such that is impossible. But not blowing them off before play starts is just pure laziness. A backpack blower would make short work of this. Most of the greens had so much debris on them it looked like a grenade went off. And the amount of water on them; The ball was leaving a rooster tail ! There was no break to play because you had to hit it so hard just to get it to the hole why bother....
Hopefully this will be rectified in the future.
