Coffee Creek Golf Club
Played On 08/05/2014i enjoyed everything except
the greens. Most were torn up and had huge patches of just dirt. From what I heard theyre in better condition than they were just recently. Anyway, other than that, it was a fun course and good for the money
Silverhorn Golf Club
Played On 08/04/2014great experience
I will be playing here again soon. The bunkers had standing water, but thats an easy fix and everything else was awsome. It was really visually appealing with changing elevations and creeks throughout. Blind shots and dog legs made for a lot of fun holes. Well worth the money and drive.
Winter Creek Golf & Country Club
Played On 08/02/2014Awsome.
It was really long and felt really spaced out and scenic. I was able to find a tee time for a great price online as well. The course was kept really nice and I was able to have a true practice round where I played 3 balls a hole with no one in front or behind me. Also had huge houses all around.
West at Lincoln Park Golf Course
Played On 07/31/2014I really enjoyed
the constant changes in elevation. Also there was a water fall on one hole which was awsome. The clubhouse was being either built or rennovated so all the business was out of a shed. But when it gets done, it looks like its gonna be huge. Huge greens.
Links at Norman Golf & Country Club
Played On 07/31/2014I live here
so I play it multiple times a week, otherwise i wouldn't. its never crowded (and its a relatively short course) so at least your rounds go fast. Their staff is also pretty friendly. However I've never played anywhere with such firm tee boxes; several fairways just look torn up, and theres no driving range. Slowest greens ever too.
I would just like to clarify that over the past two years it seems like the course has been taken care of much better. The greens are now very well kept and run quite quick, and the fairways are in pretty good shape compared to the courses I have seen in Norman.
Broadmoore Golf Course
Played On 07/26/2014easy
short straight bump and run. Thought club house was someones residence. Super easy, but if you live close and dont want to drive, or just want to hit balls, it is cheap to play and has a driving range.
Trosper Golf Club
Played On 07/25/2014fun
I would call it average. The club house was a shed. It looked nice, but nothing really stuck out. It reminded me a lot of westwood in norman. Both around the same prices to play (around $30), both have wide fairways, and both are relatively short and simple. I enjoyed it though and think it was worth the money.
Westwood Park Golf Course
Played On 07/23/2014I play here all the time
This is one of two local courses that I play regularly. The fairways are really nicely kept. The greens are actually decently fast too. It is short and straight. It is wide and open; even beginners will find it hard to loose balls here. The biggest issue is that every time I play here, reguardless of how many people are in my group, I find myself waiting for long periods of time at every tee box. right in city, so not very scenic either.
Jimmie Austin University of Oklahoma Golf Course
Played On 07/10/2014nicest course in norman public or private
Hands down it is the most visually appealing. The only annoying thing is the carts sometimes wont let you drive to your ball. As an OU student I appreciate the discounts they offer. Its expensive but worth it. The greens are challenging. Some creeks and challenging bunkers all over.
Hidden Oaks
Played On 06/10/2014fun course.
I meet family here decently often at our lake house. For me and my family's average skill level, this course is perfect. Its long and mostly straight with not much change in elevation. The greens are pretty fast. Its not anything crazy special but perfect for a small group to get out and relax. Also have really good beer specials.
Eaton Country Club
Played On 05/14/2014This is an extremely fun course.
My grandfather Bud Ducker was one of the original members of this country club so i get to play it pretty often. Lots of doglegs, and difficult sand. The fairways are beautiful. This is one of my favorite courses to play.
Presidents at Bear Creek Golf World
Played On 09/16/2013I grew up next to bear creek.
So i played here a bunch growing up. This is one of three courses at bear creek. This is the "middle" one. You dont really need a driver to play this and its really simple and flat and straight. The greens dont need to really be played either unfortanately...they're very flat and simple. If your a decent golfer and decide to play at bear creek, i think the masters course is most worth your money.

I was playing here multiple times a week since i was little. This is one of three courses at bear creek. This is the shortest and simplest. You do not need a driver in your bag to play this course. Very open.

We did the whole deal where you stay in the hotel and everything. It was an awsome experience. This was the nicest course i have ever personally played. It was decently long and challenging. Also very beautiful. I would recomend it to any seasoned golfer.
Joduck121,
Thank you for your understanding in regards to our trials and tribulations over the greens at Coffee Creek. As you are aware we had significant damage inflicted to our greens this past winter/spring. Our maintenance crew has worked tirelessly to plug and improve their condition, and they have come along way.
We hope to see you back soon so you can enjoy the course under improved circumstances,
