It's been 10 years since I have played Bent Creek and I brought 2 neighbors who have never played there. We are coming back next week and hope to score better after knowing where to land. The greens were slow but this is the season for over seeding. Great course!

Way out in the country. Fairways need more grass. When going for the green - shoot short and you will roll up on the green.

Out of our threesome, 2 had never played Hyde Park but will return. You can feel the tradition of this old course which plays fair to all. The final 5 holes are so different from the rest of the course it was like being on another course. There were ample water coolers even 2 at most stations.

My threesome happened to play on a damp course day. We played by the rules - cart path only - which slows down play. However the foursome behind us were riding all over the course and riding our butts. We kept up with the foursome in front of us but were constantly being pushed. Where was the Ranger?
