The greens were well kept, fairways good condition, and pace of play was good at 4pm.... I'll definitely be back.

The first time i played Glen Ivy, i encountered a rattle snake on two different holes, (a baby rattler on a tee box, and an adult on the fairway of another). I actually thought it was kinda cool, but ive since played three more times and no snakes, and loved the course every time. (Just an FYI that you don't wanna be looking too deep in the rough, or the woods for a "stray ball", here.) :)

Course is the perfect distance from Blues for me, and im about a 18-20 handicap, so it's a fun course that's not intimidating. (Except for maybe a rattler here and there.) Haha... The staff is friendly and GPS on the carts is pretty accurate.

The "brown grass" in the video has more to do with my camera and not the course. The course is actually fairly green.

I've played here before, and have never seen the course THIS bad. Granted, it's no Black Gold, but even David L Baker makes this course look like a barely Lawn mowed cow pasture with some poles sticking out of the ground with greens where little calves apparently walked across leaving their hoof impressions to alter the course of your ball on approach to the hole.

It has gone WAY downhill with no apparent pride of ownership to ensure that fairways and greens are at least minimally maintained, much less cared for by someone who respects the game and the course.

Pass on this one and spend a little more to make your way over to Dad Miller in Anaheim for a stark contrast.

I've played this course twice, each time before a UCLA game and the proximity makes for adequate time for a round and minimal "continuation travel" time to the Rose Bowl in Pasadena. Short Par 4 holes make it fun for me to potentially drive several of the greens and position myself for birdies that are much harder on Par 4 holes that are over 400 yards. The course is pretty well maintained and just needs a little more attention to the greens to be a course worth paying even more $$ to play. Good value. Fun course.

Friend and I needed place to golf before UCLA game. From OC, Alhambra Golf Course is on the way. Only $40 including cart. Fairways were well kept, greens were well managed, very few divets or unrepaired patches on the greens, making nice "path" for putts.

Only constructive criticism I have would be to remove the barriers to allow carts to be driven to cars, for loading and unloading clubs. I had to park quite a way from the pro shop, so had to run and get the car, drive down and drop my clubs, try to find a parking space again, and run all the way back to where the barriers to the parking lot are. First golf course I've ever been to that doesn't allow you to drive the cart to the parking lot to load/unload. (?)

Fairways are narrow, greens are ok but could use some help, grounds keepers mow to low (down to dirt in many areas), but for the price the course is adequately maintained...good value
