Played here several times a couple of years ago. Conditions were poor so decided to not play here again.
Was told recently that new ownership had made positive changes so decided to give it another try. I'm glad we did.
Other reviewers have notedd that some bunkers are under repair and that the cart paths need replacing in quite a few places. While true, we still had a very good time playing this course.. The greens were in very good condition and the course layout is challenging but fair and fun to play.
Keep up the good work Southbridge and you'll have a first class operation soon.

I have played this course several times and have always enjoyed the experience. This course is perfect for couples, seniors, women or anyone looking for a leisurely round on a well maintained course.
There is enough sand and water scattered around to make a challenging round but not so much that you would consider the course punishing.
Greens appropriately sized and are kept in excellent shape with some movement in them.
Overall an enjoyable course

I have played this course dozens of times over the past 5 years. This
course will give you all the challenge you need if you're an intermediate golfer. Plus, you can get a challenging game on a course that doesn't take 5 hours to play.
Especially noteworthy is the staff; they're friendly, courteous and always willing to go the extra mile to help.
Paul Seargent and Keith Jarrell, the PGA pros are personable, knowledgeable and, as importantly, have a genuine interest in their students enjoyment of the game
A country club this isn't. As a great place to play a quick round this can't be beat

My wife and I played this course last Tuesday 11/20 and enjoyed the time spent there. Other reviews that we've read have mentioned the excellent greens , We agree fully.
The fairways have been seeded and are coming in nicely. We liked the layout of the courrse and had a great time playing there.
The only downside to the course are the cart paths. No doubt about it, they need to be repaired/ replaced. In fact, in many places the paths don't exist at all. It's not hard to determine where to drive, though, as others have blazed a trail before you. The manager told me they were aware of the problem and are planning to replace / upgrade the paths.
In a word, this is an older, maintained course that is being upgraded. It has a friendly staff and provides great value for the money. If you're in the Hilton Head/ Beaufort area and you're tired of paying resort prices, take a drive to Lady's Island.
