Keystone Links Golf & Country Club

As always, very good course for the money. Anywhere else nearby is at least twice as expensive. This course can easily be walked and finished in reasonable time.

Like the course. Still, however, far too much money for a power cart for executive length course.

Enjoyed the round....greens still 'rough' but almost end of year so somewhat understandable. Good value for the money and staff always friendly.

Played On 10/20/2021Late in the year....
so I'll be kind because overall I like the course...however...maybe it's a staff shortage thing or too late in the year for them to bother but the greens were in terrible shape.......maybe we can blame the geese for all the brown 'bouncy' spots all over the greens.
Keystone Links Golf & Country Club
Played On 09/29/2021Brutal....
I've played here numerous times but this was just a brutal outing. We were behind a foursome that was taking 20 minutes (not exaggerating) to play a hole. Do the math for 18 holes. Not a marshal in site anywhere at any time. Finally, after realizing they were not going to wave us threw and it would take almost 6 hours to play 18 we were forced to drive 'around' them and miss playing one of the holes. Keep in mind, we all paid for 18 holes, not 17. At one point, after passing them, they were 6 (!) holes behind us. Never did see a marshal.

Challenging enough and well maintained except that now (i.e. Stage 3 covid) the bunkers should be 'dug up' raked and maintained for regular use.
Liftlock Golf Club - 18-hole Executive Course
Played On 07/15/2021Like the course but.....
charging $23 (plus tax) for a cart is ridiculous. Driving a short executive course should not cost anywhere near this much. It doesn't cost that much for a cart on most 6500 yard plus courses. I played nearby Keystone Links course (a far superior course) for 17 dollars on a Golfnow hot deal and that INCLUDED a gas powered cart. Unfortunately, Liftlock is not treatng their members (especially seniors) properly by charging so much for using the carts.. Gas is expensive but nowhere near that expense, even if you factor in 'maintenance/repair' costs.

Played On 06/23/2021a good course if you're doing GolfNow discounts....
Truly is a beautiful course with only 2 real drawbacks......because of Covid sand traps are not maintained and are basically a joke......w/o a discount/coupon it's an expensive outing.

I don't play here often but like the course and the staff are courteous and professional. The only negative is high price for small bucket of practice balls. I get twice as many practice balls for 1 dollar more at another course I play.

Considering all factors it's a good course made better if using reward dollars from Golfnow. Sand traps bad but that's a covid thing. Otherwise will play again.
Liftlock Golf Club - 18-hole Executive Course
Played On 05/31/2021Very executive style course.
The cost is misleading because rate through Tee-Off was very good but when you get to the course and need a cart they charge you over 25 dollars (!) for the cart. In other words, they use the carts as profit centers, not as an affordable convenience for seniors who may find it too difficult to walk the entire 18 holes. This is the only course I know of/or have played that employs this tactic. Any and every course I have played in this area includes a cart in the price. I understand there is gas/wear and tear but anything over 20 dollars is gouging.

Loved the course.....pace of play was ok after they moved the slowpokes up a couple of holes

Using a Golfnow coupon made this great value for the money.

For the money, it's an okay experience. Best to walk. Riding carts cost (after all, it's a short drive executive course)is way too high, It's obvious they treat it as a profit maker rather than a reasonably priced option for their customers.
Apollo Beach Golf & Sea Club
Played On 01/28/2020Likable course....
Lots of water, so keeps you on your toes.....greens are fast and in good condition......unfortunately, it appears that most of the members don't fill in their fairway divots and the bunkers are equally as badly kept...literally watched players in front of us play out of bunkers with no attempt at raking afterwards BUT, for the money, it was still a fun day out. Staff were nice.
Freedom Fairways
Played On 11/05/2019No 'heads-up' from GolfNow or from course starter.
Discovered after first tee shot that flag was not in green but in fairway in front of green, with a white circle drawn around it. Same for the second hole and then again for third hole.........Maybe seeding the greens.?? That's fine, but let your customer know before they pay their money for 18 holes of golf.
Sandpiper Golf Club - Lakes/Palms Course
Played On 03/28/2019Bang for the Buck
Difficult at this time of year to find a decent course at a reasonable price but Sandpiper fit the bill. Would play there again for the same price.

Difficult at this time of year to find a decent course with reasonable rate......this fit the bill.
We appreciate your 4-star rating and review. It is great to see you had an enjoyable time on the course and we hope you join us for another round soon.

Price was excellent......BUT.....it was partly because 2 of the greens were closed off and they had recently aerated the greens. Didn't matter to me because it wasn't much more cost than a bucket of balls and was basically a great 'practice' round. The only complaint would be that it should have been mentioned that the greens had been aerated (at time of booking)....I can understand not knowing about the 2 closed off greens at time of booking but aerated greens should have been listed, as they normally are.
Hello, and thank you for taking the time to leave us a review. We are sorry to see that your overall experience was anything short of 5 stars, but we hope you'll give us another try in the near future. Thanks for choosing Apollo Beach Golf Club.
