I wish GolfNow indicated that the course is under repair. Majority of the tee boxes are closed off and ended up playing bear Senior and Ladies tee boxes. Otherwise the course has a great layout and usually in good condition.

Played Lakeside and Pines on a very hot, humid day. Luckily rode the cart. After 1st hole, we started waiting on the tee box for the group to take their time on the green. On the fairway, few players took their time putting their clubs in the bag and adjusting the bag every time they hit their shot. 2 players were walking on this hot humid day. Blue Hill is a very hilly course. After 9 holes, I complained to the starter who told me to tell the ranger. We did not see the ranger for the entire 9 holes. On the tee box, I spoke to the ranger. However, at that time, the group ahead of this slow group must have stopped in after the nine since the slow group caught up to them. But right after the ranger disappeared, same thing happened and again, no ranger to be found.
Also, the bunkers were in terrible shape. I guess they did not get a chance to fix them after thunderstorm Henry.
Course has a nice layout and it is in decent condition. Very slow greens but I guess that's what happen after much rain. Would not play here again.

Played at Patriot Hills on GolfNow. Otherwise, the cost is too much to play. Played on Fri 4:20 tee time. With sun going down around 8:40pm, we should have finished but we ended up not playing 2 holes. Pace of play was really bad. This course is very challenging and when golfers are looking for there balls, we were backed up almost every hole (except for the 1st hole). There was a ranger for the 1st few holes then after 5pm, no ranger in sight. Need better management to control the pace of play. Otherwise, excellent layout and great condition.

Only Staten Island golf course with GolfNow reviews 4 stars, so I decided to drive over, paying the tolls to play there. What a mistake! I understand that it’s winter golfing but the fairways were a mess with goose droppings and wet puddles on the fairways and just dirt all over the fairway. There are temp tee boxes. Holes are right next to each other. Few times the balls flew near us coming from the other side. Not sure why the golf course let the carts in the fairway. There were so many tread marks since the fairways were wet with pools of water everywhere. Golf course is in terrible shape and not maintained properly. Do not play here. Only positive feature was that the greens were ok.

Booked 2 tee times from GolfNow and paid $59 plus tax/fee walking. Hooked up with 2 others: 1 local and other who also booked using GolfNow but he paid only $35 with cart. How does that happen when we both booked them at similar time?

We played Mercer Oaks East (West course was closed). Great layout but the fairways, bunkers and tee boxes were totally wet (rained previous day). Greens were in good condition. Fairway was full of goose droppings. Strong wind made it very challenging to play. Otherwise, course layout is great. Hopefully will get to play the West course this year.

My buddy and I played at Knob Hill by traveling over 1 hr south. Beautiful warm day with some wind and fairways were wet on many holes. Course had covered the tee boxes on few of the holes. Greens were inconsistent but can't expect too much during winter. Otherwise, course was in good shape for the winter golfing. Love the big screen gps on the cart. Charging $75 for winter golf was little pricey but not too many choices for good golf courses in winter time.

Played the course with possibility of rain. Only had few drizzles during 1st 5 holes. In preparation for the winter, the greens were very very slow. Tee boxes needed attention since they were sloping and uneven. We played through the rain and puddles and cold. Only few players were left on the course. Stopped by the clubhouse after 9 holes. No one was attending the bar/cafe. Self coffee was either all out or cold. Watched Masters until the rain slowed down. When we finished the round around 4pm, the club house and pro shops were all closed. However, golf cart attendant was nice enough to wait for us to finish.

Played the course on a great weather condition. Course is challenging with various elevations and slopes. Fairway and greens are in good condition. However, some of the tee boxes were in terrible condition. Front 9 holes are tight and sloped quite a bit. Overall good course to play.

Played for the 2nd time. Great layout and well maintained. I am a 12 handicap but I would recommend playing from white to enjoy the course. Gold is professional level. Blue to very difficult. Services are great w free range and outdoor dining. Only complaint was the half-way house closed and drink cart ended by 6pm. At this time, sun goes down around 8:30pm and can be very hot until sun goes down. Otherwise, great course to play and enjoy the very scenic layout and background.

When I got to the course, found out that only 10 holes were playable so we were allowed to play 2x. However, the course took tee times past 11:30am causing much back up as the players came off the 10th hold (actually 18th hold since 1 - 5 & 14 - 18 holes were open). As we came off the 10th hole, there were about 10 groups ahead of us with more players came with their booked tee times. Our 4-some all decided to leave. I only stayed to go to the range. Terrible golf course management.

Normally this course is in good condition. However, GolfNow did not mention that the course is under construction since mid-July. For a par 70 course, turning 1st hole (par 5) into 100 yard par 3 is ridiculous. There are other hole with tee box moved up significantly.

I played this course 2x this year. Before this season, I played about 10 years ago. Condition got much better. However, the pace of play was not the best. I did not see any ranger helping with the pace. Otherwise, had a great day. Very friendly staff. Will play again as long as I get a discount through GolfNow. Regular fee for out of towner is too expensive.

Course layout is excellent. Pro shop surrounding felt like a ranch. Few tee boxes needed work & the greens speed were inconsistent. Otherwise, course had excellent layout w many hazards & conditioned fairways & great usage of natural surroundings. Fun course to play w great elevations. Definitely would recommend.

Prepaid for the 2 tee times for a great value. Facilities looked great. We were able to tee up in time. Course looked great. However, it all ends there. Course is very hilly which added to the difficulty. Fairway was either in good condition or in poor condition with very hard ground. Bunkers were in very poor condition with not enough sand and very compacted. Tee boxes were uneven. Greens were in good condition but not fast. Pace was slow. Must have been due to the heat and hot weather.
