With lots of rain in the forecast, I called a few days in advance to see if the course might be closed. The helpful guy in the pro shop told me we wouldn't be playing anyway as they were closing the course for fall aeration. When I asked if he had any suggestions about how to handle my situation having already paid Golf Now he suggested I call their customer service. I did and was treated fairly by the rep. who "refunded" my previous expenses with "promos". Hope to get out to the course another time.

No complaints: pace was good, conditions very acceptable, cart and GPS were real good, cart girls were nice, helpful, and around just enough, and good food/drink options afterwards. Covid-19 safety precautions were adhered to by all staff.

;After having played several other executive courses in the Palm Springs region, and having no expectation that Date Palm would be any or much different, I was pleasantly surprised. Instead of hitting PWs and 8 irons into the majority of holes at the other courses, the longer 3's on this course had me pulling out longer irons and some fairway metals previously left in the bag. A good mix of short and longer par 3s along with 4 short par 4s.

Good mix of easy and somewhat challenging holes that require forced carries over water. Course was in good condition and the greens were fast and often undulating. A good time.

Had to wait on every hole. Finished 13 when it was getting dark and cold. Several foursomes ahead of us who were below average players appeared to want to continue. We knew there was no way we'd finish, so we decided to leave.
To be fair, we teed off at 2:45 thinking that we'd be able to finish by 5:30, and that was a mistake. Have to get off by 1:30.

Both my wife and I are 71, and in spite of diminishing distance & skills, were still able to keep up and enjoy the course. Other players were patient and courteous, and didn't "push" us. A nice first experience.

Nice way to ease into the season. Liked the condition of the fairways and greens. Greens rolled well and had a good deal of undulation. Mounds and a variety of slopes provide good practice for different ball positions.

Great opportunity to practice every part of my short game and to reflect and identify what I need to work on the most. At the same time, the course was in great shape and it didn't beat me up. Left relaxed with energy to spare. Very nice, helpful and different golf experience.

Very nice/helpful staff, relatively short, reasonably conditioned course, but very tight with homes in places.Still hit 11 of 14 fairways with no OB's. Had hoped to have a relaxing, appropriately paced, outing with my wife, but felt rushed by several other couples with considerably lower skill levels that seemed much more interested in seeing how fast they could finish than playing well. We finished the 18 in about 2, 3/4 hours but couldn't say we found the experience enjoyable. I don't like slow play, but I do like to have a little time to line up my putts, look around a bit, and feel relaxed. We'll handle such situations differently in the future.

Played the south and north 9's. The north was more challenging. Both were fair with good greens and reasonably wide fairways.

Decent course, real good weather, friendly staff, good pace of play....all at a reasonable price.
