Cranberry Golf Course
Played On 10/28/2020Quagmire
Worst course I ever played as far as conditions. Every step you were in soggy grass, pools of water..if you are used to taking a divot, forget it, nothing but mud..Apparently this is normal all year, course built on a marsh. Cart path only made it even more awful having to walk, slog, your way to the ball & back. We quit after 15, closest to the clubhouse.Three foursomes on every hole, took forever. Be warned.
Marlwood Country Club
Played On 09/01/2020Needs work
Some tees in bad shape, sand traps hard as a rock & untouched, some greens not in good condition. Not worth $47 ( Golf Now )
Marlwood Country Club
Played On 10/28/2019No warning !!!
We booked a TeeOff time for Monday morning at 9:00 am through GolfNow.
When we arrived there was a sign saying Course Closed.
Now I have to wait until the course contacts GolfNow to get a credit, pretty hard when no one is there.
Obviously we were not happy.
Oak Bay Golf Course
Played On 10/09/2017Bring lot's of ball's.
Beautiful course but no room for error, green's could be in better shape, had to wait on every shot. The course was saturated, every shot was muddy, poison ivy everywhere, bring lot's of ball's. Unhappy to drive an hour each way and pay $196, threesome and not be told the condition of course in advance.
Settlers' Ghost Golf Club
Played On 06/12/2017Unexpected bad news.
We drove 40 minutes to play the course and were told at the 7th tee we had to play the back nine over again, started on the back, as the front was being worked on. We should have been given the option of doing this before we started and getting some sort of compensation ( or ) not and have our money refunded or rain check.
CFB Borden Golf Club - Circled Pine
Played On 5/1/2013Course is in very good condition and mostly dry on fairways.
This course is kept in excelent shape all year, the greens are good and tricky at the same time.
Hint: The ball does NOT curl as much as it looks, aim at the hole.
Tangle Creek Golf & Country Club
Played On 9/17/2012This course "always" takes way to long to play
I have played this course maybe 6 times this year at different times of the day, weekdays and weekends, and the fastest round was 51/2 hours.
We played on Sept17 and i was told that there was a tournament in the morning. I asked what a good time would be to play and was told after 1:30p.m. We got to the tee at 2:00 and had to wait for 3 threesomes and a twosome to tee off ahead of us. These people were in the tournament and played like no one else was on the course.
We had a one hour wait to tee off on number 10.
We saw the Marshall and he was saying or doing nothing to speed anyone up. I have never played one hole where you did not have to wait.
Lionhead Golf and Country Club - Legends
Played On 04/29/2012Nice course to play for all levels of skill.
Only 2 major problems:
1 Far to many divet holes all over the course, not replaced or repaired by individual or course emplyees.
2 Tee boxes not in good enough shape for this type of course.
All in all a very good golf course, would certainly play it again.
