Conditions were good. We were behind a slow group and that made it it 1/2 hr longer, which impacted our round. This was my first time playing here -- course layout was more interesting after hole #2. Tee boxes OK, some on an angle, but overall good. Want to play here again for better score, but the price is a little high compared to others around Charlotte/Lee and Sarasota County.

I've played here a number of times; awhile back the fairways were improving, but there is still work to be done. Greens were nice, though. I have always enjoyed the beauty of this golf course, but still needs work to get the crabgrass under better control.

This was our second time playing at Old Corkscrew. We live an hour away and it is one of our absolute favorites. We played better this time around, having a little more knowledge of where to aim and land the ball and found it a little less intimidating than our first time out. Conditions were just super, and even with so much rain around, the course drains well. Very friendly staff; excellent Cuban sandwich in the Clubhouse.

Today the course was in the best condition EVER. It all starts at the Bag Drop and Pro Shop which is friendly and efficient. The fairways were like a carpet; the greens smooth and rolling true. Our pace of play was perfect, kept up and not rushed either. In fact, we played in 3 1/2 hours. A nice NEW touch: Iced towels at the Turn to keep cool in the FL heat. Followed a great day with wonderful food a service in the Clubhouse. Perfect Day!
