This review is such a bummer to write. I played yesterday with a friend. We often play out of the Florida Club but had been told how great this course was.
While the staff was amazing, and truly I mean it- the course condition is poor. The fairways are ROCK hard, and have a ton of weeds. Tee boxes very poor as well. Greens have mixed grass. The layout seems to be nice, but it’s letdown by condition. Cart path bridges have random pieces of wood that have been replaced and it doesn’t match- adding to the feel of a forgotten course.
I was told this is because of rain, but other courses in the area are playing in near lush conditions.
With an infusion of cash this place could really shine, but it would take much time and effort to get there.

Played the course today for the first time because of a hot deal and i will absolutely be back. Great condition, interesting layout, and friendly staff. Not to mention the nice practice area. I played with a summer member and will look into it in the future. This course lives up to the rating

Staff is pretty crazy. The bunkers have all types of weeds growing in them. Holes 10-11 are just a bad layout. 10 especially. Conditions are mixed. Some tee boxes are 5 inch weeds and dirt, some are fine. Driver is needed on about 2 holes from the tips.

Interesting layout with lots of elevation and a great price. Difficult.

I honestly had not played this course in 10 years or so. The last time was a charity tournament and I remember it to be a neat layout- in excellent shape. It’s not now. I believe that this course was originally setup for gps carts and as such there are no yardage markers or layout diagrams other than the 150yrd poles and a very small layout on the card. This is a course with many carry drives and doglegs that are not obvious. I had a cart with a gps screen although it did not work and had the name of another course on the front of the cart.
The course itself was in rough shape. The bunkers were full of random vegetation and the trails were very rutted. There were several areas that had erosion near the greens. Fairway grass was very long. The facilities have a distinct “used to be nice but now given up” look to them. Think of the strip mall that used to be all the rage before the new development moved in and took all the good stores. Heck, even the parking lot where I’m writing this review has broken windshield glass in the parking spot beside me, the lines on parking spots are gone, the landscaping has weeds growing everywhere and there is a good amount of trash in the parking lot. I suppose that’s why there are only about 10 people on the course. Sad to see this happen, but there are better courses around in better shape. $20 was cheap though! Oh! Almost forgot the cigarette burns in the golf cart seat- classy!
