Only fairways and greens are over seeded. The rough was from OK to dirt patch. Most bunkers/non sand traps were an embarrassment to the Club. Barren, muddy and hard packed. The course layout is a challenge to follow….up, down and all around.
Reports indicate that the North course is in better shape.
Staff were friendly and helpful.
Overpriced for the course conditions.

Many, many families bring their children to play here; therefore the pace was slow.
Greens were very fast and looking a little like they need some fertilizer. Got to use most of my clubs in the bag due to long par 3’s or short par 4’s.

A somewhat challenging course that was in good condition. Due to earlier rains, it was cart path only. We played as a twosome behind a foursome. Bunkers are reddish sand but do have lots of small stones. Greens were soft and a bit pock marked due to ball marks.
Out in the country…very quiet, peaceful, no homes.

Inconsistency in conditions on tee areas, bunkers and fairways. Rough was long with strange grasses. Greens were in good condition and fast.

I felt the course conditions were rather poor. Many areas had winter kill with sparse areas of grass on fairways. Areas at most greens and fringes were dead or had moss infestations. Greens didn’t run true. The course was more of a challenge than expected even by playing gold tees. Numerous long carries over marshes/ponds/lakes. Although I wasn’t playing well, the course would prove a challenge despite that.

A lovely course with great conditions and will improve further due to recent fertilizing. Greens were fast and true. Some very scenic holes by the water and the bridge. Each hole is unique.
Staff are most welcoming and willing to help in any way they can. Felt very at ease. We were a twosome with play in the 4 hours range. The group behind us was three holes back….glad we weren’t behind them.

The course was overall in good condition. Fertilizer was applied the day before so the conditions will improve further. The tee decks were sanded and irregular at times, but the fairways and greens were great. Green pace was slow but true. Will play again next week.

Slow play took the edge off the day.....A FIVESOME three groups ahead took forever. Why would a golf course allow a fivesome on the course especially since it was a Saturday morning.

Pretty scenery of the mountains and the strip in the distance. Had lots of time to admire!
Staff are very friendly although the Marshall seemed oblivious to the slow play despite my insistence that play is slow.

Lots of major elevation changes with some very memorable holes that include the scenery, water hazards and course layout.
The rough was dormant but the fairways had been over seeded. Greens tricky to read and a bit inconsistent in speed.
Staff in ProShop, starter and player assistants.....terrific, enthusiastic and friendly.
Will definitely play again and again.

Lovely layout. Very picturesque golf holes, all different.
Side banks on many holes feed your ball back into the fairway. That is just great.
Most friendly staff....helpful, enthusiastic and willing to go the extra mile.
The greens were in great shape with a moderate pace.
Course conditions were not up to the standard of Bali Hai...rough is dormant, fairways are painted green and the fairways were not in the best conditions. Lots of divots and large dead areas that were covered with green sand.

With a hot deal, this course is excellent value with great conditions, polite, supportive staff, a well-stocked pro shop and a four hour round.

Style, support and service. The staff go out of their way to provide the best experience for you....complementary valet parking, club delivery, range balls, water and information. Most impressed with friendliness and welcome.
Course was wet due to recent rains, but only had the par 3's and #17 as cart path only. Some renos on course due to an eventual change in course layout.
Will play again definitely.

Wonderful day at Terra Lago. Really enjoyed the course with great views and fairways cut into the desert with lots of challenge with bunkers and water. Many ups and downs in the terrain.
Impeccable shape. Just re-opened 10 days after over seeding. Greens still a bit slow.

Wonderful day at Bali Hai with another couple. Enjoyed the course. Greens are great, but the fairways and rough are being worked on in certain small areas..slit aeration with overseeding. Bunkers need fluffing up and better sand.
Don't get me wrong...it is a lovely course with friendly staff and great facilities.

Although the course wasn’t in the best of shape (ball marks on greens, entry and exit points on fairways need work, rough was dormant) and the starter seemed to have an edge, the course is both interesting and fun to play. Sloping fairways and elevated tees make for positional golf and enjoyable views.

It is a forgiving, playable course but it is not up to the standard of their premier tract which is Raven. The greens are slower, not as pretty, not as challenging and not up to the level of care.
Enjoyed our day. Would play again when we return to the area.

Lots of variety in hole layouts. Narrow fairways complicated by a wind advisory. Water comes into play frequently. Greens ran true and fairways were well maintained.

The pro shop with limited stock is a separate building from the clubhouse. We particularly enjoyed the course layout with elevation changes, water hazards and true rolling greens. Pace of play was outstanding. A group of ladies ahead of our twosome willingly let us play through. Felt alone on the course afterwards. Well worth the trip over the causeway to the Niceville area.

So peaceful, serene. Well laid out golf course in the middle of the desert....no traffic noise or houses. Great separation by the desert from other fairways. Felt like we were alone on the course until we caught up to the foursome ahead. Pace was good.
Course was in great shape with fast, true rolling greens. Lots of roll on the fairways with yardage markers every 50 yards + cart GPS. Staff from pro shop check-in, to cart girl, to starter, to marshall are super friendly and are most willing to help. All around great day with lovely scenery.
