Clifton Hollow Golf Club
Played On 07/29/2014Nice little course
Fun course. You could go really low here which is always a confidence booster. Most par fours are just over 300 which shouldn't leave you with much of an approach and maybe even a couple eagle putts. Greens were a bit slow but they did hold approaches well despite the spell of dry weather lately. Beverage cart made it around a few times and that was mid day on a Tuesday. Looked like there were drink and food specials most days of the week.
Mississippi Dunes Golf Links
Played On 07/27/2014Funky change of hole order
Course was in nice shape. Grain makes a huge difference in putting. Some of the greens are a bit small for the undulation they have. Most greens are elevated and with domed edges can cause a bit of back and forth for a less experienced player. On the day we played the back tee markers were mostly up with the white tees. I have rarely seen this course set up to play 6600 yards as advertised. I believe it was playing between 6200-6300. Still very challenging tee shots and a couple new tee boxes made it a fun outing. I was a bit annoyed by the new hole order. My garmin still had the old order of the holes so I would have to search for them or rely on the carts gps, Which I often found myself unable to use it because the cart would shut down if we were in the rough on the opposite side of the fairway as the cart path. Still had a fun time and will go back. I hope they can fix the gps problem and widen the driveable zones on the course. I think $50/cart is the absolute most I would pay to play here. I would play more often at $35.
White Eagle Golf Club
Played On 07/24/2014Nice big Course
nearly 7200 from the tips. although it was set up to play about 6900. greens were fast and firm but would hold a ball that came in high pretty well. Greens were moderatly quick. It will help to play this coures a couple times to know where not to hit it. Good size greens without too much undulation rewards a good shot. I fond a couple tee shots to be a little bit wonky. Big elevation changes occasionaly require precision off the tee. Very fun track! must play.

Very fun little track. 9 holes but very challenging. small grees require accuracy off the tee. short par 4s give a nice chance to make up for bogeies on the incredibly difficult par 3s. greens are slow but recieve a ball well. Camp ground makes it nice place for a small golfing family to stay for the weekend and play a bunch of golf without pressure of stacked tee times.
Majestic Oaks Golf Club - Crossroads Golf Course
Played On 8/1/2013Ok
The overall condition of the course was fair. The tees were decent and grass was mostly thick with a few holes having bare areas that were a little burned out and dry in the middle of playing areas. The greens were firm and slow. I have played the signature 18 here before and would much rather play that course. If you plan to play majestic oaks try to play the signature course.
