I have played here many time before and the shape of the course was disastrous. The grounds were hard as a rock. I understand no rain has hit the area but you should have your own sprinkler system. The fairways were almost burnt and on some holes burnt for sure. Sand draps we’re not playable as hardly any sand and so many rocks inside them.
Only the greens were ok.
I gave feedback at the course and not even an offer of compensation.
If the course is in this condition moving forward it will be my last time playing there. Not worth $65 to play the legacy course.
I was told it’s going to link style. Well, maybe the course should go to Pipers Heath and Bond Head South to understand what a links course is.

From the moment I arrived my experience was 5 star. The facility and service was fantastic. Courteous staff and always assisting when I asked any question. They upgraded my course if you want to call it that. Paid for Silver and played Red Tiger.
All in all I will be back to play again shortly.
Eagle Trace Country Club

This used to be a good course but hey have let it go. The course itself is a 3 star at best out of 5. Just not maintained like it should be, being that it’s a club link course.
They were half hour behind and didn’t get to finish the round.
Carts were not charged as the 2 others I played with had to change their cart at hole 5.
Pace of play was extremely slow. And no marshals on course to get the pace moving.
Will never play the course again.

I apologize your experience didn't live up to your expectations. We are doing various projects to improve the overall health and conditions of the course. We are looking into ways to enhance the pace of play, as some find the course difficult which causes some slow down.
We appreciate the feedback, and do hope you'll give us another chance.
Grand Niagara Golf Club - The Rees Jones Course

Beautiful layout and condition. Only downfall are the sand traps as no soft sand to ply out if you are in there. Other than the staff are cortex us and friendly. The course itself is in superb condition. Greens are fast.

We thank you for your recent post. Turf staff are BUSTING IT looking to complete repairs while adding new sand to the remaining bunkers on the golf course. The majority will be completed in time for the Sr. Amateur this September. We hope to see you back!
