The Club At Viniterra
Played On 03/30/2016Viniterra review
Course layout on the front 9 wasn't too bad. There were a few holes that had blind shots. Most holes on the back seem to have blind shots on every hole. In many cases it wasn't obvious where the landing area was.
The clubhouse is nothing special. As a matter of fact it wasn't much of a clubhouse at all. I guess the expectation is that you go next door and drink wine after your round as they aren't able to serve alcohol as of the day we played.
I would not play this course again.
Emerald Greens Golf Club - Silver Course
Played On 10/24/2015Fall golf
I like playing this course in the fall because there aren't as many leaves to deal with. The course was in amazing shape for late October. Greens were in great shape. Unfortunately some golfers must not feel the need to repair ball marks this time of year.

I have never played a course in as poor of a condition as this one. I actually lost a ball on the green for a second because it rolled under a chunk of broken green. It would take years to restore this course into a playable golf course. The $15 dollars I was charged was more than the round was worth. On one tee box I couldn't find a spot where the grass was short enough to drive my tee into the ground. I should have gone to the driving range instead.
Yes , clubhouse is weak but they do sell beer and always gotten my yuengling there . Only thing I can think of with blind shots is there are a few doglegs, but course well marked so can always see the blue 200 yard pole and the White 150 . Aim to get inside 150 and you'll have good round . Scorecard also very good showing shape of holes and any hazards are marked very well . I'll definitely be back.
Not quite sure what dssquires is talking about. Just to defend the layout at Viniterrra, which I've played a half dozen times. Blind shots??? Where? Not on 1, 2, 4, 5, 6, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 16, or 18. Oh wait, there is not 1 blind tee shot on the golf course, what course were you playing dssquires?? Course is right in front of you with plenty of visual definition off the tee to guide you thru the course. One of my favorite and most beautiful layouts I've played. Give Viniterra a try, if you're a true golfer you will not be disappointed.
dssquires,
Thank you for coming out and playing Viniterra for the first time! We hope to be in an updated clubhouse as soon as possible. With our many tee options here, White Tees are the most friendly to 15-19 handicappers. Even the Gold Tees are acceptable because I think we can agree that golf is more fun when you're playing well and striping it down the middle! I am sorry to hear that you will not be back, have a good day and keep golfing!
Sincerely,
Management
