Twin Birch Golf Club

If you are an average golfer and sort of like to be challenged by more narrow fairways and woods then this could be your course. Not a lot of elevation changes, but some interesting water and narrow landing areas. All in all a very fun round and the food in the club house is good. Very friendly staff. New electric carts with ball and club washers mounted on both sides. The prices are extremely friendly for this area also. Even if you just walk in and play a round. Please give them a try and enjoy Northern Michigan golf at what I think is one of the better places. Like the area, it is laid back and relaxed.
Evergreen Resort - Norway Course

I liked the this course. It seems like an older style course that is designed with the fairways next to each other. My only disagreement with the description is the lake is not near the course. It is not on the shores of Lake Cadillac, but other than that the staff is friendly and helpful. The course has enough challenges to make it interesting without beating you up, and overall it is just a fun experience and well within budget.

I liked this course. My friend didn't. Maybe because he was not playing as well. We had a wonderful golfnow deal so the price was good. The regular rate is pretty steep. With the name I expected some nice vistas overlooking Lake Michigan, but there aren't any. This course plays through the woods. There is some water, some nice sand and decent undulating greens. The tees showed remarkable wear for this time of year. The fairways are well kept and dry. If you can find a deal this is a nice course. All the carts have GPS and they say they will control your rate of play, so if you are slow and like to ball hawk there might be better options when it is busy. The staff was super friendly and helped make us feel comfortable about some of the elite aspects of the course.

The course is pretty run down. Greens, fairways, and tee boxes all look like they are lacking attention. Drainage seems to be a major problem also. The carts have seen better days. The course is being mowed, but the greens keepers don't seem to be able to keep things looking fresh and lush. It is not expensive so please give it a try yourself. You will only be out a small amount of money if you use a golfnow deal and then you can form your own opinion.
