The last time that I played this course last in 1986, wonderful layout, tough, challenging with a beautiful clubhouse within the resort. The greens were recently punched and are still not 100% but this is a definite return for me

I had played course three weeks previously and the condition of the fairways left a lot to be desired.

This time the fairways and rough were mowed properly as were the greens. The two of us had a group behind us but we pretty much felt like we had the place to ourselves. The weather was beautiful as well. It was a good time to enjoy a mid week game.

Definite recommend.

I had played this course 24 years ago, so this was a long wait to get back here. My son and I played eighteen as a twosome which we had a foursome in fornt of us and a twosome behind us. The weather was overcast and due to rain the night before the conditions were wet.

This course and the Mountainview courses are pure enjoyment and the staff is excellent.

My son and I played yesterday at Hunters Creek and had a great time. It was fairly busy, the front nine played slower than the back due to the numbers of golfers playing initially. The area had experienced four previous days of heavy rain, so there was some mud and damp spots in various parts of the course itself. The greens were fast and the fairways decent. The staff throughout the club was very kind and helpful. I will definitely play here again.

My son and I played the Island on our recent trip to Ireland for Easter. The staff was very helpful and treated us as if we were club members. The course was in great shape, the greens were hard and fast. It was an extremely cold and windy day when we played which added to the experience of playing a true links course. The clubhouse food and draught cider were a great way to finish play at the Island. I will definitely be back on my next trip to Ireland.

My son and I played Mayfair together and had a great time, the course was in decent condition. I had not played here since 1988 but it is still pretty much the same now as then with not many differences. This is a course that dates from the 1920s and deserves a chance to be played by golfers who have not ever done so.
