This is one of the few courses where you will use all the clubs in your bag if you're drives aren't in the fairway.

I thoroughly enjoy playing this course to sharpen my iron shots. The perfect course for beginners and intermediate players alike. It features water and overhead (power lines) hazards...a free re-tee if you hit the power lines.

This is a great executive course to practice your course management skills. I thoroughly enjoyed the round. It's a little ways from Chandler, but worth the drive.

I f you have not played this course in the last 5 years, you are in for a great surprise! The new clubhouse is expansive. This is the place to entertain your friends, family, and clients! The only improvements I think are necessary would be a better driving range, and covered parking. Other than these 2 minor irritations, this course is a solid 5 out of 5 stars.

There has been significant improvements on the course since the winter of 2015. The course is in almost excellent condition. It is a fun course to play. Many of the regulars are extremely friendly. The members are terrific folks. The staff is very attentive. I like it so much that I'm joining the men's club for regular rounds. My motto is "It's not golf unless you play 18."

I had forgotten how much fun it is to play this course. If you have a high handicap, it is best to play from the foward (white) tees. If you have decent distance and can manage to get on the greens in regulation, then by all means play the blues.

This is a fun course to play. There are many hazards but most you can recover from. It had been 5 years since the last time I played Bear Creek, but I have played 3 rounds since June 11th.

I live in Chandler and there are a great number of regulation courses to choose from to play. Yet, 6 out of 10 times, I chose San Marcos. Not because of its proximity to my home, but because it is a very good course for high to mid-handicappers (like me). The staff is very knowledgeable and friendly. They have a good staff of course rangers who don't pick at your group if you're a little bit slow. It's a great course for those who range in the 12 thorugh 20 handicap region. Word of advice: Please play from the correct tees or you will frustrate yourself, members of your group, and those behind you. I shot an 85 from blue markers and a 96 from the tips. I plan to improve that 96 over the weekend.
