Heritage Harbour Golf Club
Played On 05/10/2023Good course needs more time
This course went under a complete renovation last year(2022). It’s very well payed out with interesting holes it it needs time to develop. The greens are rock hard and you have to hit to the front to keep the ball on the green. If you hit the green on the fly you’ll end up 20 yards off the green. If you hit a firm putt you end up off the green. Very frustrating!!!

One of the best courses in the Sarasota area.!A little pricey but worth every penny!
Inverness Golf & Country Club
Played On 02/07/2022It’ s just OK!
We felt the pictures of the course were very deceiving. Realizing the time of the year, e didn’t find much green on the course and the putting greens in need of water, The layout was interesting and the carts were very new. The course needs some TLC. Don’t follow the Golf Now direction, they took us way out of the way. And almost missed our tee time.
Thank you so much for leaving us with your feedback. We value our customer experience, so your review is important to us. We will make note and we hope to see you back at Inverness Golf & Country Club!
Whisper Creek Golf Club
Played On 08/16/2021Good pace and good course
Had an enjoyable round, course is in good shape. Greens putted well, traps were hit or miss on amount and depth of the sand. Pace of play was great! Would play again!
Tanna Farms Golf Club
Played On 06/03/2021Ok course, suffering from COVID lack of business.
This is not a bad course, but need some cash flow to help improve the conditions. Sand traps are horrible (no sand at all)..
The Links at Greenfield Plantation
Played On 05/05/2021Great day and an interesting course!
Good course, in good condition for this late in the season. Love the GPS on the carts as this was our 1st time playing the course. I will play this course again!
The River Club
Played On 04/25/2021Getting better
I played this course 2 years ago and swore I would never return. However, I gave it another shot on the recommendation of a fellow player. The course was definitely better than 2 years ago. Tee boxes were decent, greens were good, fairways still need some work and there are some really bad traps (little or no sand and not maintained,) The driving range looked like a cow pasture.
I would certainly give this an average rating but still an interesting layout and a challenge to an average golfer.
Thanks for the comments. Confused about the driving range, it is absolutely beautiful. We put a ton of effort into keeping it in great condition, especially with the amount of use it gets. Also, we replaced sand in all green side bunkers and they now look amazing. We will be making even more improvements this summer. Great conditions, great price and friendliest staff in the business. Come see us soon.
The Preserve Golf Club
Played On 04/23/2021Good price value for this area.
I found the course to be a challenge and interesting. Lots of water...and sand. The course is a little old and just got a new owner that is supposedly putting in some money. Hope that happens!
Tatum Ridge Golf Links
Played On 05/03/2021Don’t play Tatum Ridge
I’ve been coming to the Sarasota area since 1991 and have played a lottt of golf on many courses. This was the very worst course I have ever seen, period. There was a reason they required a prepay to play there. From the moment we drove through the entrance we knew it was not going to be a good day. Every tee box was a disaster, no grass anywhere, weeds all over and the tee markers were rotten wood. The fairways again were mostly weeds, but were so hard the ball would run forever, right into the ruff. The sand traps had more grass than the fairways. The greens were about 50/50 grass and weeds. The people were nice and the know what they have but can’t say anything. I can’t say anything good about this course. To call it a golf course is an insult to our sport! My suggestion to Golf Now would be to remove it from your site.
Klein Creek Golf Club
Played On 11/10/2020Course is getting better
I haven’t played this course for over 3 years because the last time it was disaster. Considering it late in the year, the fairways and greens were in good condition and there was sand in every bunker (fortunately I didn’t experience any of the bunkers this round.) Even on a very windy day, we had a great day!
Orchard Valley Golf Course
Played On 10/08/2020Tanna Farms Golf Club
Played On 08/28/2020Tana Farms is a good place to play .
Tana Farms is a nice place to play but needs a little TLC. Tees are all chewed up, fairways are very over watered ,especially close to the greens. Restaurant is still closed, even though they have a covered outdoor facility. They use to have a Senior rate of about $30.00, now just a more expensive rate for a lesser maintain course.
Glendale Lakes Golf Club
Played On 08/20/2020Not in good golf shape
I’ve play this course a few times, but doubt I’ll go back. The course was not in good condition, the “sand traps were mud holes and unplayable. The fairways needed some work and a little water. The greens were just ok. I like the layout, but not a fan of back to back par 3’’s.
St. Andrews Golf & Country Club - St. Andrews Course
Played On 07/02/2020Good experience
I had a great round this morning. I don’t like that the putting green is not close to the 1st tee on the St. Andrews course. Would have liked to had the snack bar open at the 9th hole even though it was early morning. Course is in good condition.
We use to play this course as a senior rate of $29.00 with a cart! Much higher now!
Bartlett Hills Golf Club
Played On 06/25/2020Very interesting layout and very challenging!
This was my first time at Bartlett Hills and I certainly will be returning. Beautiful course and very challenging for any level of golfer.
Terrific! We are so pleased that you enjoyed your first time at Bartlett Hills Golf Club. We look forward to seeing you at the course soon for another 5-star experience!
Arlington Ridge Golf Club
Played On 02/10/2020Good time
First time playing this course and we really liked it. The tee boxes were plentiful 5 or 6 levels, the fairways were good, greens were really fast but fair. We would play this again!
Thank you so much for your review, Ed. We are glad to hear you enjoyed your visit to the club and plan on joining us again soon!

Course was beautiful, but we were lucky that one of our players had played the course before because there are many blind shots from the tee. Would recommend a course map or a GPS with arial view.
Hello Ed! Thank you for taking the time to provide us Feedback on your experience. We are sorry we didn’t meet your expectations during your visit. As it
relates to turf conditions in “winter” months of January & February, the off color yellow brown conditions are related to multiple days of heavy frost
we experienced in late January. During Winter, turf color does not rush back to green and lush due to night time temps staying below 60 degrees
for most of Jan / Feb / and often into March. The Greens can take on a purple, yellow, or brown hue during cold snaps and we treat them weekly
with liquid fertilizer to bring them back to a greener tint. The dry winter conditions (with very limited rainfall) do create firm and fast conditions and
tighter fairways. Overall, in the marketplace we have priced ourselves accordingly and offer a very good value during the high demand
months. Our Starters and Rangers do their best to keep players on pace but in certain circumstances players can get unruly and somewhat
vulgar at times. Finally, this summer we plan to renovate the entire golf course, new greens, new turfgrass, rebuilt bunkers, and new laser-leveled
tee boxes with new turfgrass. In the Fall, we will reopen and have an entirely new fresh look. Thank you for your time and we hope you will
consider visiting again.
