My first real job as a teenager was at this course so have some history. Still one of the best courses in green valley. For the wear and tear on the greens and fairways that’s expected during peak season, the course was in real good shape. Pace of play was fair. Teed off at 1:20, out of the parking lot at 5:30. Was getting dark, appreciated the cart guys letting us finish. Good day.

With 3 par 5’s and 3 par 3’s on the front 9, all with reasonable low scoring potential, number 9 leaves you with a challenge before making the turn. It’s a Par 5 with water on the right and well placed bunkers on the left fairway and front and back of the green. Number 2 handicap hole can be a challenge. The back also has 3 par 3’s, all reasonably gettable in reg with long laid out greens. The 2 par 5’s on the back are challenging with an elevated tee box on 11 and a narrow landing area with trouble on both sides can get out of hand quick without a good drive. And 18, number 1 hardest handicap hole will leave you deciding whether to lay up on your 2nd shot, or fly the desert canyon to the top shelf for the green. Course was in good shape and greens were soft. Always great views ! ⛰⛰
Thank you for your kind words! We hope to see you again at the course very soon for an even better 5-star experience. Thanks for choosing San Ignacio Golf Club.
